> If that was the only thing holding you back, could you please upload the

I'm no longer interested in package this library so I'm returning this
report to RFP.

Here are some comments for future ITPers:

  * The sources includes outdated wine headers, and I was unable to
make this work with the updated ones (supporting more archs), so
patchs are needed to enable archs rather than i386. There are
patches from fedora enabling amd64 and s390.
  * The code seems to be unmaintained. Latest release from
libemf.sf.net (v1.0) was in 2002, and there is an updated
version from pstoedit.sf.net, but latest release (1.03) was in
2005.
  * After adding '#include 'to
libemf-1.0.3/libemf/libemf.cpp code compiles under i386 and
seems to work fine as stated above from my tests.

Best regards,
  Ruben

* Package name: python-tg.devtools
  Version : 2.0
  Upstream Author : Kevin Dangoor and contributors
* URL : http://www.turbogears.org/
* License : MIT/X
  Programming Lang: Python
  Description : developer tools for the TurboGears web framework
   TurboGears2 is a framework to develop web applications in Python,
   following a model-view-controller architecture.
   .
   The main TurboGears2 package is python-turbogears2. This package
   contains developer tools that ease developing TurboGears
   applications. In particular, this package provide integration with
   the Python Paste tools implementing scaffolding command to start
   developing TurboGears2 applications.

I'm packaging this as a dependency of TurboGears2, which is currently
in unstable but is lacking the packaging of its dependencies to work
(gap that I'm trying to fill). The code of this particular package is
currently shipped by python-turbogears2, but---as discussed with other
folks of #debian-python---it is better to package it separately. Until
the turbogears2 package itself is fixed to account for this code move,
this package will stay in experimental.

Another important note is that this package depends on zope.sqlalchemy
which is not currently packaging. I'm trying to contact the Zope
maintainers to decide whether I'm to package it or they are.

Skanlite is a small and simple scanner application for KDE4 which allows easy
scanning of images with an attached scanner. Through the KSane backend it can
access a wide variety of different scanner models.

Skanlite can be considered the replacement of Kooka.

Yes, I am well aware that a human review is needed.
Anyway, I think the causes of those lintian warnings should be cured...

which doesn´t implies the package rejection. It´s just time to wait for a
human review from Debian, please be patient :)

Bug#536023: RFA: leafnode

2009-07-06 Thread Mark Brown
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

I'm looking for an adopter for Leafnode since I no longer use it. The
package is in fairly good shape, pretty static and upstream is very
responsive.

To be honest what's really needed here is more upstream effort rather
than more Debian effort - there has been a major new version, Leafnode 2,
in development for approximately a decade with no current prospect of a
release. This would fix several Debian bugs and bring a bunch of
performance improvements.

Bug#533348: udev-extras deleted/merged

2009-07-06 Thread Jason D. Clinton
udev-extras has been merged in to udev in the new extras/ subtree with an
--enable-extras requirement. The udev-extras tree is now empty:

http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux%2Fhotplug%2Fudev-extras.git

A new upload of udev would resolve whatever -extras provided including
udev-acl support (which, in turn, depends on ConsoleKit) which is needed for
secure access to number of devices.

Anyone who intends to adopt xpdf also needs to be prepared to help
in the creation of updated packages for oldstable-security and stable-
security. This isn't a package that should be adopted as a first package
for NMs.
