Most (if not all) of them are included in Debian. One of them not included is openzap . IIRC it installs under /opt (but I may be confusing it with another program). In short, there's some Debianization work to do. I'm currently busy with some other things, and thus it's rather low on my priority list. -- Tzafrir Cohen icq#16849755 jabber:tzafrir.co...@xorcom.com +972-50-7952406 mailto:tzafrir.co...@xorcom.com http://www.xorcom.com iax:gu...@local.xorcom.com/tzafrir -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-wnpp-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#453065: getfem++ 4.0
Hi all, I've uploaded my last packaging effort based on the official release of getfem version 4.0.0 here: http://mentors.debian.net/cgi-bin/sponsor-pkglist?action=details;package=getfem Some remarks: 1. In accordance with the tar.gz-name and the SO-NAME of the last upstream release I've removed the "++" suffix from the name of the source-package as well as from the names of all binary packages. 2. I let the superlu code included in the upstream package intact. I 've included all its copyright relevant information in debian/copyright, but during the build process I've used the libsuperlu3-dev package instead. 3. In this email I CC'ed "Ana Beatriz Guerrero Lopez" who is the maintainer of gmm++-dev in order to attract her attention to my previous question: > 3. gmm stand alone packages > Since there is a debian package for standalone gmm too: > http://packages.debian.org/sid/all/libgmm++-dev > and since the upstream for gmm++ and getfem++ is the same, > I suppose the standalone gmm++ package could be replaced by the > one contained in getfem++. > At this point a decision should taken also for the name of the > package (libgmm vs libgmm++, see point 1). 4. I would like to suggest that getfem is moved to the "Debian Scientific Computing Team", since this team already maintains many similar packages. As I haven't contacted neither the people who worked on getfem in the past nor the "Debian Scientific Computing Team" yet, I CC persons from both parties in this mail hoping to get some positive response from both. In any case, I would be glad to continue working on this package under the mentoring/sponsoring of anyone who would like to undertake it. I am more than happy if you take over it, all the packages placed under pkg-kde/krap are build depends or depend of KDE that we (KDE team) need but we do not really want to maintain. I do not know if Xavier Bello is still interested in it, but he always can join you in the maintenance under the umbrella of the Scientific Computing Team. Bug#509768: ITP: taskcoach -- a friendly task manager
Hi, I tested more than 8 To-Do-List manager in some work or project situation. I just installed Taskcoach with an external deb package made by the official developer of this free sofware(GPL) on my Squeeze distribution. To my mind, Taskcoach is the best and powerfull to-do-list manager that I have seen over all my test during few month. It have an intuitive gtk interface and it is thoughtful. I think this is a good tools to assist projects or jobs. You should consider packaging it for the Debian distribution. Tell me if you need help to packaging or maintaining it. Best regards, Thomas Pierson

Bug#548129: ITP: libdata-miscellany-perl -- collection of miscellaneous subroutines
Package: wnpp Owner: Alejandro Garrido Mota Severity: wishlist * Package name: libdata-miscellany-perl Version : 0.02 Upstream Author : Marcel Gruumlnauer, * URL : http://search.cpan.org/dist/Data-Miscellany/ * License : Artistic | GPL-1+ Programming Lang: Perl Description : collection of miscellaneous subroutines Data::Miscellany is a collection of miscellaneous subroutines useful in wide but varying scenarios; a catch-all module for things that don't obviously belong anywhere else. Obviously what's useful differs from person to person, but this particular collection should be useful in object-oriented frameworks, such as Class::Framework and Data::Conveyor. Bug#548131: ITP: libmoosex-async-perl -- Moose metaclasses to support asynchronous operations
Package: wnpp Owner: Jonathan Yu Severity: wishlist X-Debbugs-CC: debian-de...@lists.debian.org,debian-p...@lists.debian.org * Package name: libmoosex-async-perl Version : 0.07 Upstream Author : Chris Prather * URL : http://search.cpan.org/dist/MooseX-Async/ * License : Artistic | GPL-1+ Programming Lang: Perl Description : Moose metaclasses to support asynchronous operations MooseX::Async is a set of Metaclasses for MooseX::POE (see libmoosex-poe-perl) and it's siblings. As such, it is porbably not very useful on its own. Please see them for documentation. Bug#548136: ITP: libmoosex-poe-perl -- Moose wrapper around a POE::Session
Package: wnpp Owner: Jonathan Yu Severity: wishlist X-Debbugs-CC: debian-de...@lists.debian.org,debian-p...@lists.debian.org * Package name: libmoosex-poe-perl Version : 0.205 Upstream Author : Chris Prather * URL : http://search.cpan.org/dist/MooseX-POE/ * License : Artistic | GPL-1+ Programming Lang: Perl Description : Moose wrapper around a POE::Session MooseX::POE is a Perl module that provides a Moose-ish way to manipulate POE::Session instances. It provides an 'event' keyword to associate events with a given block of code. The current session will then be able to run these events in the normal fashion, whilst providing the encapsulation and other nice features afforded by Moose. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-wnpp-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
