Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Firas Kraiem fi...@fkraiem.org Owner: Firas Kraiem fi...@fkraiem.org * Package name: iroffer-dinoex Version : 3.21 Upstream Author : David Johnson (PMG) p...@iroffer.org Dirk Meyer (dinoex) din...@dinoex.net * URL : http://iroffer.dinoex.net/ * License : GPLv2 Programming Lang: C Description : IRC file distribution bot iroffer is a fileserver for IRC (commonly referred to as a DCC bot). It uses the DCC feature of IRC to send files to other users. iroffer will connect to an IRC server and let people request files from it. Unlike similar programs, iroffer is not a script; it is a standalone executable written entirely in C, from scratch, with high transfer speed and efficiency in mind. iroffer has been known to reach 6MByte/sec or higher bandwidth usage when multiple transfers are occurring at the same time. . iroffer-dinoex is a fork of iroffer developed and maintained by Dirk Meyer. It offers a lot of enhancements and new features, and is backwards-compatible with the original iroffer. New features offered by iroffer-dinoex include support for IPv6, SSL (either via OpenSSL or GNU TLS), passive DCC, large ( 4 GB) files, UPnP, and the ability to extend it via a Ruby scripting engine. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-wnpp-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Hi Lennart, after being kindly asked to do it, I packaged nss-myhostname for Debian and uploaded it. It will have to pass through the NEW queue and will then be installable via apt-get on Debian. Thanks for creating this nice piece of software. So far, I had no issues with nss-myhostname. If I come across some, or receive bug reports from Debian users, I’ll make sure to let you know. I’d also be grateful to be pinged about new versions or other important stuff. Greetings and thanks, Joachim Breitner PS: Josh pointed nss-myhostname out to me when I published nss-gw-name, maybe it is of interest to you as well: http://www.joachim-breitner.de/blog/archives/390-libnss-gw-name-A-stable-name-for-your-gateway.html -- Joachim nomeata Breitner Debian Developer nome...@debian.org | ICQ# 74513189 | GPG-Keyid: 4743206C JID: nome...@joachim-breitner.de | http://people.debian.org/~nomeata signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part

On Fri, May 07, 2010 at 10:03:36PM +0200, Joachim Breitner wrote: after being kindly asked to do it, I packaged nss-myhostname for Debian and uploaded it. It will have to pass through the NEW queue and will then be installable via apt-get on Debian. Thanks for creating this nice piece of software.
