Bug#457899: RFP: ubuntu-archive-keyring -- GnuPG keys of the Ubuntu archive
Hi, pbuilder started to pass the --keyring option to debootstrap when creating a chroot environment [1]. This means it is not possible to create a Ubuntu chroot environment (on Debian) without either grabbing the ubuntu-archive-keyring from somewhere by hand or telling pbuilder to not pass the --keyring option (possibly a security issue). I think it would be beneficial to include the keyring package in the Debian archive in the interest of the developers that care about both Debian and Ubuntu. Bug#589600: ITP: f5vpn-login -- F5 VPN command-line client
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Taku YASUI * Package name: f5vpn-login Version : 20091224 Upstream Author : James Y Knight, * URL : http://fuhm.net/software/f5vpn-login/ * License : GPL Programming Lang: C, Python Description : F5 VPN command-line client This software allows you to connect to an F5 VPN server without using their browser plugin. It also has the advantage of setting up DNS properly on OSX systems, which the official client doesn't do. (but maybe they will in the future, now that they can copy the method I use). It is not supported or affiliated with F5 in any way. I actually find it rather sad the client they provide is so terribly poor that I had to write this in order to get reliable access to my company's VPN. This software does not require any software from F5 to be installed on the client. The only requirement is Python 2.3.5 or later. It works on at least Linux and OSX systems, but porting to any similar OS should be trivial. Porting to Windows, on the other hand, is probably not reasonably possible. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-wnpp-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Bug#589545: ITP: xdot -- interactive viewer for Graphviz dot files
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Stefano Rivera * Package name: xdot Version : 0.4 Upstream Author : Jose Fonseca * URL : http://code.google.com/p/jrfonseca/wiki/XDot * License : LGPL-3+ Programming Lang: Python Description : interactive viewer for Graphviz dot files xdot is an interactive viewer for graphs written in Graphviz's dot language. It uses internally the graphviz's xdot output format as an intermediate format, and PyGTK and Cairo for rendering. xdot can be used either as a standalone application from command line, or as a library embedded in your python application. Features: * Since it doesn't use bitmaps it is fast and has a small memory footprint. * Arbitrary zoom. * Keyboard/mouse navigation. * Supports events on the nodes with URLs. * Animated jumping between nodes. * Highlights node/edge under mouse. Jones * URL : http://git.annexia.org/?p=hivex.git;a=summary http://libguestfs.org/download/ * License : LGPL 2.1 Programming Lang: C Description : Windows Registry "hive" extraction library libhivex is a library for extracting the contents of Windows Registry "hive" files. It is designed to be secure against buggy or malicious registry files. Unlike many other tools in this area, it doesn't use the textual .REG format for output, because parsing that is as much trouble as parsing the original binary format. Instead it makes the file available through a C API, or there is a separate program to export the hive as XML (see hivexml(1)), or to get individual keys (see hivexget(1)). --- End Message --- --- Begin Message --- Source: hivex Source-Version: 1.2.2+git20100712-1 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of hivex, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive: hivex_1.2.2+git20100712-1.debian.tar.gz to main/h/hivex/hivex_1.2.2+git20100712-1.debian.tar.gz hivex_1.2.2+git20100712-1.dsc to main/h/hivex/hivex_1.2.2+git20100712-1.dsc hivex_1.2.2+git20100712.orig.tar.gz to main/h/hivex/hivex_1.2.2+git20100712.orig.tar.gz libhivex-bin_1.2.2+git20100712-1_amd64.deb to main/h/hivex/libhivex-bin_1.2.2+git20100712-1_amd64.deb libhivex-dev_1.2.2+git20100712-1_amd64.deb to main/h/hivex/libhivex-dev_1.2.2+git20100712-1_amd64.deb libhivex-ocaml-dev_1.2.2+git20100712-1_amd64.deb to main/h/hivex/libhivex-ocaml-dev_1.2.2+git20100712-1_amd64.deb libhivex-ocaml_1.2.2+git20100712-1_amd64.deb to main/h/hivex/libhivex-ocaml_1.2.2+git20100712-1_amd64.deb libhivex0-dbg_1.2.2+git20100712-1_amd64.deb to main/h/hivex/libhivex0-dbg_1.2.2+git20100712-1_amd64.deb libhivex0_1.2.2+git20100712-1_amd64.deb to main/h/hivex/libhivex0_1.2.2+git20100712-1_amd64.deb libwin-hivex-perl_1.2.2+git20100712-1_amd64.deb to main/h/hivex/libwin-hivex-perl_1.2.2+git20100712-1_amd64.deb A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached.
