I am happy to sponsor your packages - please send me (by email) a direct

Doesn't python-relational already do that?

URL: http://www.polarion.com/products/svn/subversive.php
License: Eclipse Public License Version 1.0
Description: Provide Subversion (SVN) integration for Eclipse.
The Subversive plug-in enables you to work with Subversion repositories
from the Eclipse workbench in almost exactly the same way that has long
been possible with CVS repositories via the CVS plug-in bundled in the
standard Eclipse distribution. General features of the Subversive
plug-in are quite similar to those of the CVS plug-in:

* Browse remote repositories (in this case, Subversion repositories)
* Add a project to the repository and check out projects from the
repository
* Synchronize a project to see incoming and outgoing changes
* Commit, update and revert changes
* See resource change history
* Merge changes

Similarity to the CVS plug-in is Subversive's major guiding principle.
The goal is to ensure that both plugins use similar concepts, semantics,
and interface for similar things. At the same time, Subversive enables
you to benefit from all of Subversion's features including those which
differ from, or are not present in CVS.

Bug#591348: RFP: glassfish -- GlassFish is a Java EE open source application server.

2010-08-02 Thread Tim Stoop
Package: wnpp

* Package name: glassfish
  Version : 3.0.1
* URL : http://glassfish.dev.java.net/
* License : CDDL and GPLv2
  Programming Lang: Java
  Description : GlassFish is a Java EE open source application server.

GlassFish 3.0.1 is built on a modular, flexible runtime based on the OSGi
standard. It enables organizations to create and deploy Web applications with
the lightweight Java EE 6 Web Profile and to easily leverage the power of the
full Java EE 6 platform for enterprise applications. Developers also benefit
from the simplified programming model and productivity improvements offered by
Java EE 6. The result is a flexible platform that can apply only what is needed
to address the business problem, thereby reducing cost and complexity. Because
GlassFish 3.0.1 uses a microkernel architecture based on OSGi, developers can
begin with the Java EE 6 Web Profile and use the Update Center to dynamically
upgrade to the full Java EE 6 platform!

GlassFish 3.0.1 also features alignment with NetBeans 6.9, support for Eclipse,
scripting support including JRuby/Ruby and Groovy/Grails, an easy-to-use
Administration Console and Update Center connectivity.

This description sounds like a marketing blurb (in fact, it is copied
verbatim from the webpage), I think that's not good for a Debian
package. IMO it should just explain what is this for, and highlight
that it is a paid sarvice.

Hi,

As announced last week, I'd like to find a new maintainer for the
iptables-persistent package.

The package description is:
 This package contains just a system startup script that restores iptables
 rules from a configuration file.
 .
 Since this is aimed at experienced admins, there is no configuration
 wizard.

The package itself is really simple. One init script, one dependency.
You should be somewhat familiar with the init system, including its
multitude of variants.

Bug#591328: RFP: xul-ext-quickproxy -- Statusbar button to turn the proxy on and off with a single click

2010-08-02 Thread Roman V. Nikolaev
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
X-Debbugs-CC: debian-de...@lists.debian.org

--- Please fill out the fields below. ---

   Package name: xul-ext-quickproxy
Version: 2009.07.19
Upstream Author: Ozzie-
URL: https://addons.mozilla.org/ru/firefox/addon/1557/
URL: http://ozzie.id.au/quickproxy/
License: Mozilla Public License 1.1
Description: QuickProxy is an extension that I’ve been working on
for Firefox. Quickproxy creates a statusbar button to turn the proxy on
and off with a single click. This switches Firefox between the different
proxy states that you have selected, which are configured through the
Firefox preferences, and the type of proxy that is turned on/off is
configured through the QuickProxy preferences window. This extension
will not provide a proxy server for you.
