A big problem is that MOL does require a patched kernel, i.e. the module can't be built without patching the kernel itself. Are you sure about that? I was able to build mol with module-assistent back in the days, has that seriously changed? There was some work upstream to get MOL into the mainline kernel, but it seems to have died. Maybe Greg Kroah-Hartman would help, but I think the interest in MOL is near zero. I guess part of the missing interest in MOL is the lack of support for OSX 10.5 - it only supports it up to 10.4. I only found out about this after I did finish the upgrade process about two years ago, and since didn't notice any progress on these grounds. Sorry to see it go nevertheless. Was fun. rox-filer seems to be dormant and there's a translation update for Squeeze.
Hello. A while back I translated rox-filer to Brazilian Portuguese (pt_BR) (see: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=558326 ). Now the Squeeze development is in its final stages and I read that translations could be included. I sent an email maybe about two weeks ago to rox-filer's maintainer but got no response. I read that I could report a bug for rox-filer if it has been orphaned but I'm not sure of that and also since I'm not much involved with the Debian way of doing these things I thought it would be better to write to wnpp's mailing list. That translation in the bug report, save for the last update, was included in rox-filer upstream (development repositories). The one in the bug report has yet a correction and also includes the translation files for the Wallpaper application-directory (a ROX-Desktop application) that comes with the Debian package for rox-filer. So basically I'm writing this in case someone know how to include the translation in the rox-filer package.
