Hi, Aron

There is an ITP for openfetion already.
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=584309

The packaging work is already done. We are just waiting the upstream
author to replace the icon which Debian can not distribute.
I have contacted levin for this this issue a month ago.

Today, levin told me OpenFetionV1.9 which solves the icon problem is
released. So, we are ready to go now.

in the DOG SVN repository [3]. The final versions of the packages
will be built using the octave-pkg-dev insfrastructure [4] [5].

Hi,
I'm closing this ITP without upload. The octave-forge video package is
without an upstream maintainer (see upstream commit 7497) and hasn't
seen any real commits for more than a year.

I don't see any sense to bring it into Debian in the current state of
affairs.

That's great.

 Thanks for your notice, I'm merging these two bugs now.

I also have set up a project[1] and my branch[2] for openfetion at launchpad.

How about set up a team at launchpad and co-maintain this package?

I think we should put Liang Guo in this loop since he filed the ITP first and
I asked his permission to carry on the work.

Bug#593341: Still packing it?

2010-09-25 Thread José Luis Segura Lucas
I'm using Twittering Mode for Emacs from its upstream. I'm really
interested on a Debian package for it.

Are you still working on it?

Bug#598044: ITP: autoconf-dickey -- automatic configure script builder (Thomas Dickey's version)

2010-09-25 Thread Sven Joachim
Package: wnpp
Owner: Sven Joachim svenj...@gmx.de
Severity: wishlist

* Package name: autoconf-dickey
  Version : 2.52-20100814
  Upstream Author : David MacKenzie
Thomas Dickey
* URL or Web page : http://invisible-island.net/autoconf/autoconf.html
* License : GPLv2+
  Description : automatic configure script builder (Thomas Dickey's version)

 This hacked version of autoconf is required to bootstrap ncurses and
 some other packages maintained upstream by Thomas Dickey. It should
 not be used for other purposes.

Yet another autoconf version, as if the four that we already have in the
archive weren't enough. :-( But it is needed for ncurses if we ever
need to patch configure.in, see #580190.

Or if that doesn't work, replace the shit in his source by something that
works with all the lot we already have?
