Sorry, while the above mail came out, you sent an RFS request to the pkg-fonts team mailing list. Still, I am not sure whether this font package is maintained in the team's SVN and if you're formally a team member (with commit rights on Alioth, etc). signature.asc Description: Digital signature

Bug#625800: RFP: libhttp-lite-perl -- Lightweight HTTP implementation
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist * Package name: libhttp-lite-perl Version : 2.2 Upstream Author : Roy Hooper * URL : http://search.cpan.org/dist/HTTP-Lite/ * License : Artistic or GPL-1+ Programming Lang: Perl Description : Lightweight HTTP implementation HTTP::Lite is a stand-alone lightweight HTTP/1.1 implementation for perl. It is not intended as a replacement for the fully-features LWP module. Instead, it is intended for use in situations where it is desirable to install the minimal number of modules to achieve HTTP support, or where LWP is not a good candidate due to CPU overhead, such as slower processors. HTTP::Lite is also significantly faster than LWP HTTP::Lite is ideal for CGI (or mod_perl) programs or for bundling for redistribution with larger packages where only HTTP GET and POST functionality are necessary. HTTP::Lite supports basic POST and GET operations only. As of 0.2.1, HTTP::Lite supports HTTP/1.1 and is compliant with the Host header, necessary for name based virtual hosting. Additionally, HTTP::Lite now supports Proxies. As of 2.0.0 HTTP::Lite now supports a callback to allow processing of request data as it arrives. This is useful for handling very large files without consuming memory. signature.asc Description: Digital signature

More specifically I need someone, preferably a DD, to take over the role of lead developer. I wrote resolvconf in order to solve the problem of dynamic updating of nameserver addresses on laptop computers. That was in 2003. Since then I have reduced my involvement in Debian and, more importantly, I have switched to Ubuntu on the machines I use regularly. As a consequence of the latter it is not easy for me to test any changes I make to the resolvconf package. The Debian resolvconf package does not install on Ubuntu. Resolvconf is maintained on alioth by a small group of people. None of the current team members is in a position to take over the role of lead developer. I am no longer well situation to play that role. Hence I call for help. Description: name server information handler Resolvconf is a framework for keeping up to date the system's information about name servers. It sets itself up as the intermediary between programs that supply this information (such as ifup and ifdown, DHCP clients, the PPP daemon and local name servers) and programs that use this information (such as DNS caches and resolver libraries). . This package may require some manual configuration. Please read the README file for detailed instructions. --- End Message --- --- Begin Message --- For now I can take care of resolvconf. -- Thomas --- End Message ---
