Bug#519898: gsoap
Hi, I'm just trying to figure out what happens with gsoap. I talked to Stefano about sponsoring his upload and Stefano told me that he's working on a new version of the package. Please correct me if I'm wrong Stefano. Now I just noticed that Mattias volunteered to take over. Are you still interested Mattias or is main objective to get your build dependency as it is for me? Bug#579791: Maintaining zookeeper in Debian
Hi Team Some of you may have been following the discussion around zookeeper and its future in Debian on debian-devel. Clint Byrum (cc'ed) and myself discussed this last week and we would like to step up to help maintain this package in Debian. There are a couple of reasons for this: 1) zookeeper is a essential part of ensemble (see [0] and [1]) so having a well maintained package in Debian and Ubuntu is key to the success of this project. 2) zookeeper is part of the Hadoop Big-Data suite which is important for the Ubuntu Server Team strategically. The package is currently maintained by Debian Java Maintainers; we propose that this remains as is and that Clint and I pickup the outstanding bugs against this package for resolution in the immediate future. Neither Clint or I are Debian Developers so we will need help in the form of sponsorship to ensure that this package continues to be actively maintained. Bug#472802: New updated packaging available
Hi everyone, I've just committed a few modifications to the packaging making it lintian clean and upgrading to 1.91+. In order to build the package you'll need to download 1.91 build 10315 of limesurvey and rename it to limesurvey_1.91plus-build10315.orig.tar.bz2 (assuming you grabbed the bz2 archive). At this point, Nick, Jan-Pascal, do you want to remain maintainers on the package? Julian, you appear to be a DD, would you sponsor this package? My GPG key is on a backup (not on my main computer, whoops), so I'm going to get that sorted out tonight and upload to mentors.debian.net tomorrow. If I don't hear from anyone in the next few days, I'm going to ask for a mentor to get this uploaded.
