Bug#489314: Maintaining the spread package

2011-10-07 Thread Robert Johansson
Hi

I am willing to take over the maintenance of the spread package, and to update
it to the latest upstream version 4.1.0 (the current version in the 3.17.4 is
many years old...). But I am new to maintaining debian packages: could anyone
give me a pointer on where to start? I have already created the new package,
but cannot find how to submit it to the debian package system.

Best regards
Robert

Bug#644612: RFA: flowscan-cuflow -- A CGI interface for flowscan-cuflow

2011-10-07 Thread Russell Stuart
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

I request an adopter for the flowscan-cuflow package.

The package description is:
 CUGrapher is a Web CGI program which generates images on the fly
 based on user input with data supplied by CUFlow. Thus it
 generates graphs of traffic flows over your network.

I no longer use this package, and am not a huge fan of Perl. I'd
appreciate someone else picking it up.

Hi!

YafaRay Project (former yafray, now dead) consists of two parts:
 + Core software, doing the heavy-duty work (ITP #638653);
 + Exporter software, that creates a interface between the modeler
   (in this case, Blender) and the raytracing engine.

I've already worked a lot on the first one and going to look for a
sponsor (I'm still a sponsored maintainer). Its packaging is ready, even
if the software is not considered stable yet by upstream authors.

Now I'm working on the exporter and it's easy, since it consists in few
python files to be copied as addons for Blender.

  Version : 0.1.2~beta2
  Upstream Author : Bert Buchholz
Michele Castigliego

* URL : http://www.yafaray.org/
* License : GPL-2+
  Programming Lang: Python
  Description : YafaRay Exporter for Blender 2.5x

YafaRay Exporter for Blender 2.5 allows exporting a Blender 3D model in
a way that YafaRay rendering engine can understand and work on it to
provide a good rendering alternative besides the Blender (and others)
one.

Description: pkg-config support for Eclipse CDT

The aim of the Eclipse plug-in is to provide automation of configuration needed
for projects using pkg-config, such as GTK+ and gtkmm.

The plug-in will set options and switches automatically that gcc needs to add
in the selected packages - specifically the header file paths, the libraries,
and some other gcc switches.

Hi,

I would like to package ruby-context under the umbrella of the Ruby
Extras Team.

* Package name: ruby-contest
  Version : x.y.z
  Upstream Author : Damian Janowski , Michel Martens

* URL : https://github.com/citrusbyte/contest
* License : Expat
  Programming Lang: Ruby
  Description : Ruby library to write declarative tests using nested
contexts

This Ruby library allows you to write declarative tests
using nested contexts without performance penalties. Contest is less
than 100 lines of code and gets the job done.

Best wishes,

  Cédric

Bug#643961: Packaging libmonitoring-availability-perl

2011-10-07 Thread Salvatore Bonaccorso
Hi Alexander

I just noticed that you already tagged the RFP with 'pending' but did
not saw any upload to the NEW queue. I would like to ask, if you
already packaged it. The reason I ask is, that I just startet with the
packaging of it in the Debian Perl Group repo [1].

 [1]
http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=pkg-perl/packages/libmonitoring-availability-perl.git

So it is quite finished. Would you like to maintain
libmonitoring-availability-perl yourself? Else I could maintain it
under the Debian Perl Group umbrella.

Regards
Salvatore
