Okay (I see that you are using RT4 now from other bug reports). I've retitled this to be RT version independent; I don't think we should be adding new RT3.8 packages, since we're quite close to removing RT 3.8 from unstable (#647126) Thanks, Dominic. -- Dominic Hargreaves | http://www.larted.org.uk/~dom/ PGP key 5178E2A5 from the.earth.li (keyserver, web, email) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-wnpp-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#649860: RFP: wwwoffle -- World Wide Web OFFline Explorer
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist * Package name: wwwoffle Version : 2.9h Upstream Author : Andrew M. Bishop * URL : http://www.gedanken.demon.co.uk/wwwoffle/ * License : GPL2 Programming Lang: C Description : World Wide Web OFFline Explorer The wwwoffled program is a simple proxy server with special features for use with dial-up internet links. This means that it is possible to browse web pages and read them without having to remain connected. The package has previously been shipped with Debian but was removed[1] due to unresolved RC bugs. I therefore include the original maintainer (Paul Slootman) in X-Debbugs-CC. As far as I know there has been no response from Paul on wwwoffle. Is there anyone else interested in bringing wwwoffle back to Debian? Is there any repository for the previous Debian packaging efforts? I could offer some help with the package. Bug#573859: Berkeley DB XML library packaging
I've continued to work on the package, it's currently here: https://github.com/cajus/dbxml-debian Known issues: * license inspection: every binding carries various licenses, needs to be listed in copying. * java bindings: not packaged in the moment. * PHP bindings: not packagable, because it depends on php-db which is not built alongside of libdb*. * The test suite is not run during the build. signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part.
