-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Ben, Thanks. It is not something I really waznt to do. But w3c-sgml-lib is really trying to do the same job as w3c-ddt-xhtml and w3c-dtd-xhtml is IMNSHO a mess. The only way I can solve all the issues is by removing stuff from w3c-dtd-xhtml until they can be installed side by side. Hopefully then I can persuade people to stop using it. Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Olivier Sallou osal...@debian.org * Package name: libjlapack-java Version : 0.8 Upstream Author : Keith Seymour * URL : http://icl.cs.utk.edu/f2j/ * License : BSD Programming Lang: Fortran, Java Description : LAPACK numerical subroutines translated from Fortran to Java The JLAPACK project provides the LAPACK numerical subroutines translated from their subset Fortran 77 source into class files, executable by the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) and suitable for use by Java programmers. This makes it possible for Java applications or applets, distributed on the World Wide Web (WWW) to use established legacy numerical code that was originally written in Fortran. Bug#665341: Licensing of an old Java code
Hi, I do packaging for Debian, and I am currently packaging a software that makes use of a Java code extracted from your book: * Gary Cornell and Cay S. Horstmann, Core Java (Book/CD-ROM) * Published By SunSoft Press/Prentice-Hal This code is CoreJava-Format, a class for formatting numbers that follows printf conventions. The issue is this code is licensed under a NON-COMMERCIAL purpose usage. Though, to be in Debian, the code must be completely free of usage. Would you mind freeing this code with a Debian compatible license (BSD for example), which makes it free of use for any purpose ? Regarding the nature of this particular code, I don't think this would an issue for you. If you agree to do so, can you please answer this email with a format agreement as well as the selected licence. Bug#665419: ITP: octave-dataframe -- manipulate data in Octave similar to R data.frame
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Rafael Laboissiere raf...@laboissiere.net * Package name: octave-dataframe Version : 0.9.1 Upstream Author : The Octave Community octave-...@lists.sf.net * URL : http://octave.sourceforge.net/dataframe/ * License : GPL-2+ Programming Lang: Octave Description : manipulate data in Octave similar to R data.frame In the R language, a dataframe object is a way to group tabular data. The functions in this package allow the manipulation of data in a similar way in Octave. Dataframe objects in Octave can be created in a variety of ways (from other objects or from tabular data in a file) and then can be accessed either as matrix or by column name. This Octave add-on package is part of the Octave-Forge project.
