Bug#719556: ITP: logcat-color -- a colorful alternative to adb logcat

Why does it not mention this in the package name? And is there a reason
not to publish this in the adb package itself if it is that useful?

Tnetstring is a serialization format a lot like JSON but it uses a new
syntax called typed netstrings that was proposed for use in the Mongrel2
webserver. It's designed to be simpler and easier to implement than JSON,
with a happy consequence of also being faster in many cases.

I'm packaging a python implementation for that format:

It is needed for OpenNebula 4.2.0 to avoid shipping an embedded js library as.

Zurl is HTTP client worker with ZeroMQ interface, written in Qt/C++.

Features:

  - Request HTTP and HTTPS URLs
  - Completely event-driven, using JDNS and QNetworkAccessManager
  - Handle thousands of simultaneous outbound connections
  - Two access methods: REQ and PUSH/SUB (think Mongrel2 in reverse!)
  - Streaming requests and responses
  - Packet format uses TNetStrings
  - Set access policies (e.g. block requests to 10.*)

Bug#719618: RFA: spring -- modern full-3D RTS game engine

2013-08-13 Thread Jan Dittberner
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

I request an adopter for the spring package.

The package description is:
Spring is a modern full-3D RTS (Real Time Strategy) game engine originally
created to bring the gameplay experience of Total Annihilation into 3D.
Games are played using one of a number of mods.
 .
This package just includes the game engine and the default AI, with no maps,
 mods or rich user interface.

The package is under maintenance by the Debian Games Team but I was the only
person that did work on this package in the past.

Best regards
Jan

Bug#719624: RFA: xrdp

2013-08-13 Thread Vincent Bernat
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA256

Hi!

I am requesting an adopter for xrdp, a X11 RDP server. I have lost
interest in it and the package needs some work. It is currently in
collab-maint and there are some bits not uploaded to the archive yet.

Some random points to know:

 1. XRDP comes with a X11 RDP server. Unlike most drivers, it still
needs to be compiled inside a complete X11 tree. This would be
quite interesting to get this into Debian.

 2. Upstream is not unhelpful but is unwilling to release
tarballs. xrdp 0.7.0 sits in a branch of the git tree but there is
no tag. Despite several requests, we still don't have either a tag
or a tarball. This already happened with 0.5. This is the main
reason I have not tried to package 0.7.0 yet.

  Description : A script for cloning a non-relocatable virtualenv

Virtualenv provides a way to make virtualenv's relocatable which could then
be copied as we wanted. However making a virtualenv relocatable this way
breaks the no-site-packages isolation of the virtualenv as well as other
aspects that come with relative paths and '/usr/bin/env' shebangs that may
be undesirable.

Also, the .pth and .egg-link rewriting doesn't seem to work as intended.
This attempts to overcome these issues and provide a way to easily clone an
existing virtualenv.

I intend to package it because it is a dependency of current
virtualenvwrapper versions.

Regards
Jan

We at Tails [1] have been porting the Sikuli gem to use RJB instead of
JRuby, as the latter is becoming totally unmaintainable for us.

Teaser: help us streamline the Tails dev / test / release process, so
that we spend less time preparing releases (every 6 weeks!), and have
more time to develop useful features :)

I'm on it. :)

  Programming Lang: C
  Description : SVNServe Tunnel-mode Setuid/setgid Wrapper

svnstsw is a wrapper around svnserve that sets the tunnel user equal to
the username of the user that started the wrapper. It is intended be made
setuid or setgid by the local administrator, to allow local users on a
shared system to invoke svnserve without having direct access to the
repository itself.

svnstsw's upstream source is in contrib/ in the Subversion repository, but
contrib/ is not distributed as part of the Subversion release tarball. I'm
copying the subversion packagers in case they have thoughts, want to
co-maintain, etc.

Bug#719664: ITP: parsley-clojure -- parser generator for context-free grammars

2013-08-13 Thread Eugenio Cano-Manuel Mendoza
Package: wnpp

  Version: 0.9.2
  Upstream Author: Christophe Grand *christo...@cgrand.net*
* URL: https://github.com/cgrand/parsley

Description : parser generator for context-free grammars
  .
parsley can create parsers for custom grammars and yield parse-trees for
any
given input. The parsers generated by parsley are a variant of LR
parsers.

I'm very open to suggestions regarding the description of this package
since I don't want to be very technical but then again the description
looks too generic.
