Bug#738308: Status of bustle package.

I have vague memory about this, but I was talking to Will Thompson,
bustle upstream, and we wanted to bring latest version in Debian[0].
Spoke to Chris (or via his brother, Johnny) about it and he was not
interested in the package, IIRC, so he hinted me to remove him and add
myself, Ian was also interested to get latest upstream version in
Debian, so we got the package under Debian Haskell Group.

Sorry Chris, this was not an attempt to hijack the package, but
getting up to date.

As anyone can see, I have no longer enough time to maintain this

The new maintainer should be aware that upstream author no longer

Sources where maintained on my own git server [2] and will remain until the

I request an adopter for the gedit-valencia-plugin package.

The package description is:
 Valencia is a gedit plugin that turns gedit into a lightweight IDE for Vala.
 Using Valencia, you can easily browse between symbols in a Vala program. You
 can build a Vala program inside gedit and can easily jump to lines with
 build errors. You can also get tooltips for methods and get autocompletion
 suggestions by invoking autocomplete in the appropriate context.

Sorry, missed this entirely..
just to recap: back in 2011 I took the stale par2 code from
http://parchive.sourceforge.net/, merged the patches various distros
had shipped with, and put it all on github. BlackIkeEagle contributed
several more improvements (including unicode-compatibility and
directory tree recursion), and I encouraged him to become the new
maintainer. So https://github.com/BlackIkeEagle/par2cmdline should in
fact be considered the new "upstream" of par2cmdline.

Bug#553035: willing to help

2014-02-17 Thread Alexandre Detiste
Hi,

For me, game-data-packager is the way to go to keep everything uniform.
Here is a patch adding tyrian to game-data-packager version 37.

It currently only recommends "opentyrian",
so this can be compiled manually.

 Makefile  |2
 lib/tyrian-mirrors|1
 supported/tyrian  |  126
++
 tyrian-data/README.Debian |4 +
 tyrian-data/control.in|   13
 tyrian-data/copyright |   20 +++
 tyrian.mk |   34
 7 files changed, 200 insertions(+)

Sample output:

tchet@legacy:~$ game-data-packager tyrian
game-data-packager tyrian arguments:
game-data-packager tyrian [ -f path ] | [ -w ]
-f path path to your existing copy of tyrian21.zip
-w fetch tyrian21.zip from the World Wide Web
tchet@legacy:~$
tchet@legacy:~/game-data-packager-tyrian$ ./game-data-packager tyrian -f
../tyrian21.zip
generated "/home/tchet/game-data-packager-tyrian/tyrian-data_37_all.deb".

This is precisely the role of game-data-packager.

I got the code form elsewhere, but it works
fine the data .deb from G-D-P.

#!/bin/sh

cd /home/tchet/bin/opentyrian
hg update

I request an adopter for the valatoys package.

The package description is:
 Vala Toys for gEdit is an experimental collection of plugins that
 extends the gEdit editor to make it a better developer editor.
 .
 Vtg tries to make less compromises as possible so, for now, its scope
 is narrowed only to support the Vala programming language.
 .
 Vtg is written in Vala itself and it is currently composed of just
 one plugin with four modules and it adds to gEdit:
 .
  * Bracket completion
  * Symbol completion
  * Project Manager
  * Project build / execute

Bug#739293: RFP: dudle -- privacy-enhanced web-based event scheduling

2014-02-17 Thread IOhannes m zmoelnig
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist

* Package name: dudle
  Upstream Author : Benjamin Kellermann
* URL : https://dudle.inf.tu-dresden.de
* License : AGPL
  Programming Lang: Ruby
  Description : privacy-enhanced web-based event scheduling

 Dudle is an online scheduling application. It allows to schedule events (e.g.
 schedule a TelCo, meeting etc.) or to conduct small polls (e.g. find out which
 sort of coffee some people like the most).
 .
 Unlike most other similar applications, Dudle offers enhanced access control
 settings, which minimizes trust assumptions into the polling server. Users can
 configure their poll, depending on whom they trust. Trust scenarios, which are
 covered by the prototype are:
  + trust in all participants of the group
  + trust in the poll initiator only
  + minimal trust in all parties

Bug#711373: RFS: ruby-cookiejar

2014-02-17 Thread Jonas Genannt
Hello,

another update for gitlab depends, ruby-cookiejar was sitting in NEW for about
9 months.
upstream did not included license/copyright information in tarball.

I talk to upstream and he added license information and switch to 2-clause bsd
and
release a new version of cookiejar.

 ruby-cookiejar (0.3.1-1) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * Team upload.
   * Imported Upstream version 0.3.1 (Closes: #711373)
   * d/docs: added README.markdown
   * d/control:
 - bumped standards version to 3.9.5 (no changes needed)
 - updated homepage url
   * removed patch fix-test-failures, included by upstream
   * removed patch remove-rubygems, no longer needed
   * d/copyright: updated to new upstream version (switched to 2-BSD)
   * d/ruby-tests.rake: upstream changed directory and names of tests

Could any dd please upload it to NEW again?

Thanks,
Jonas
