 Jonathan: you did the last upload, would you prefer maintaining it

Please be my guest. I have no particular interest in irker.

VDR-Network-Streaming-Interface plugin for VDR

The vdr-plugin-vnsiserver binary package [1] used to be generated from
xbmc-pvr-addons [2], but it is more closely related to VDR. In latest
release of PVR addons it has been cut out to a separate repository on
GitHub (see URL).
I think the VDR team could maintain it better than myself, this is why
I submit an RFP instead of an ITP.

Thanks,
Balint

Bug#772823: ITP: kimchi -- HTML5 baseITP: kimchi -- HTML5 based management tool for KVM.d management tool for KVM.

2015-01-22 Thread Frederic Bonnard
I updated the package with some of your points :

 1. For some reason kimchid didn't start on boot, systemd decided not to
 load it. This may well be a problem on my machine, not a generic one,
 but perhaps worth testing.

Got the same :)
I added --with systemd so that postinstall script does the job. Looks good now.

 2. The dependency on qemu-system is fairly broad, unless kimchi actually
 supports foreign architecture VMs then depending on the local version
 per-arch would be nice.

I changed this, now we should drag only the current arch qemu-system.

 ...
  [ ] 3. Websocksify listens on IPv4 only, this will be unreliable for people
  who have both v4 v6 in DNS, and break for any v6 only users : no bug
  so far : I checked
  kimchi for configuration options but that seems to be changed deeper.
  Should I
  file a bug for this one ?

 With 1.4 websockify is now an external dependency so it's now a bug in
 it (although fixed upstream, but there's not been a release, I've filed
 debian bug #??? for this).

* Package name: python-pyroute2
  Version : 0.3.3
  Upstream Author : Peter V. Saveliev pe...@svinota.eu
* URL or Web page : https://github.com/svinota/pyroute2
* License : GPLv2+
  Description : pure Python netlink and Linux network configuration library

Pyroute2 requires only Python stdlib, no 3rd party libraries.

The library provides several modules:

* Netlink protocol implementations (RTNetlink, TaskStats, etc)
* Simple netlink socket object, that can be used in poll/select
* Network configuration module IPRoute provides API that in some way
  resembles ip/tc functionality
* IPDB is an async transactional database of Linux network settings

Comment:

Pyroute2 is planned to become a dependency of dhcpy6d, hence I'd be
happy if someone with more Python module packaging experience than me
could package it.

There is already some RPM packaging at
https://github.com/svinota/pyroute2/blob/master/packages/RedHat/python-pyroute2.spec
(which is also the only place where I found the + in GPLv2+
mentioned so far).

Yes, we run it as an etcd user generally. /var/lib/etcd will need to
be owned by that user. Here is a service file if you don't have one
yet:

I can't find golang-toml to actually test this out. But, the debian/
directory looks good to me!

Thanks,

  Description : WindowMaker dock app for monitoring filesystem usage

Nice graphical 'df', showing you to what degree the mounted
filesystems are used.

Another X11 dockable application designed for WindowMaker.
It works with other window managers as well.

wmfsm was removed from Debian in 2010 [1], but it has a new upstream maintainer
and a new version was just released.

Bug#776019: ITP: normaliz -- math tool for computations in affine monoids, and rational polytopes and cones

2015-01-22 Thread Jerome Benoit
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Jerome Benoit calcu...@rezozer.net

* Package name: normaliz
  Version : 2.12.2

S\oger norma...@uos.de
* URL : http://www.home.uni-osnabrueck.de/wbruns/normaliz/
* License : GPL-3
  Programming Lang: C++, Java
  Description : math tool for computations in affine monoids, and rational
polytopes and cones

Normaliz is a mathematical tool for computations in affine monoids, vector
configurations, lattice polytopes, and rational cones.

Its input data can be specified in terms of:
- a system of generators or vertices;
- a system of linear Diophantine equations, inequalities and
congruences;
- a binomial ideal.
Normaliz computes:
- the dual cone of a rational cone (in other words, given generators,
  Normaliz computes the defining hyperplanes, and vice versa);
- a placing (or lexicographic) triangulation of a vector configuration
  (resulting in a triangulation of the cone generated by it);
- the Hilbert basis of a rational cone;
- the lattice points of a rational polytope;
- the lattice points of a rational (unbounded) polyhedron;
- the normalization of an affine monoid;
- the Hilbert (or Ehrhart) series and the Hilbert (or Ehrhart) (quasi)
  polynomial under a Z-grading (for example, for rational polytopes);
- Ehrhart series for semiopen cones;
- generalized (or weighted) Ehrhart series and Lebesgue integrals of
  polynomials over rational polytopes via NmzIntegrate (also in the
  semiopen case);
- a description of the cone and lattice under consideration by a
system of inequalities, equations and congruences.

Normaliz can be started from the command line or from the GUI interface: the
user indicates the type of input data in an input file and controls the
computation and the output via the GUI interface or command line options.

Bug#776020: ITP: invokebinder -- Java DSL for binding method handles

2015-01-22 Thread Miguel Landaeta
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Miguel Landaeta nomad...@debian.org

* Package name: invokebinder
  Version : 1.5
  Upstream Author : Charles Oliver Nutter head...@headius.com
* URL : https://github.com/headius/invokebinder
* License : Apache-2.0
  Programming Lang: Java
  Description : Java DSL for binding method handles

 This Java library hopes to provide a more friendly DSL for binding
 method handles.
 .
 Unlike the normal MethodHandle API, handles are bound forward
 from a source MethodType and eventually adapted to a final target
 MethodHandle.
 .
 Along the way the transformations are pushed onto a
 stack and eventually applied in reverse order, as the standard API
 demands.

This is packaged since is a dependency of JRuby 1.7.x and upcoming
9.0.0.0 releases.

Bug#776022: RFP: libjs-jquery-jsignature -- simplies creation of a signature field in a web browser

2015-01-22 Thread W. Martin Borgert
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist

Package name: libjs-jquery-jsignature
Version : d7c33c8
Upstream Author : Willow Systems Corp http://willow-systems.com
URL : http://willowsystems.github.io/jSignature/
License : MIT
Programming Lang: JavaScript
Description : simplies creation of a signature field in a web browser

From the web page:

jSignature is a JavaScript widget (a jQuery plugin) that simplifies
creation of a signature capture field in a browser window, allowing a
user to draw a signature using mouse, pen, or finger.

 * Works in all mainstream browsers that support Canvas or Flash
 * Captures signatures as smooth vector images. (Yes, SVG is
   supported!)
 * Ingenious, super-efficient (i.e. not lagging) real-time curve
   smoothing.
 * Allows manipulation of signature strokes, like “Undo last stroke”
 * Automatically adapts to your page’s layout and colors.

Btw.: This library is needed for Odoo (http://bugs.debian.org/638720).
