They can be executed together using this test plan: .. 2013.com.canonical.certification::piglit This package is a new project coming out of the plainbox / checkbox ecosystem. It depends on piglit (waiting in NEW) and more recent version of plainbox (I'm working on packaging it) and plainbox-provider-resource. I'm filing the ITP bug so that packaging can be ready when all the other things land and unblock this. This package is relevant for testing OpenGL / OpenCL implementation. Piglit is used by several hardware manufacturers during their development process and having access to piglit via the unified plainbox interface (specifically through the Canonical Driver Test Suite) benefits all users in the long term. I'd like to maintain it as all the other providers, under PAPT, with checkbox developers as the main maintainer but PAPT and mysefl as uploaders (this is a team effort though I don't think this package will require many changes). -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-wnpp-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Fabian Greffrath fab...@greffrath.com writes: Am Dienstag, den 31.03.2015, 10:26 +0200 schrieb Toby St Clere Smithe: The Fluid soundfont is split into two parts: GM and GS. This does not apply for timgm6mb, so such naming doesn't make sense. Both names are descriptive, and are of the general schema name-soundfont[-specialisation]. I see. Have you considered a soundfont-name[-special] schema like the ones the fonts-* or browser-plugins-* packages use? The fluid-soundfont-* packages do not follow this schema (yet?), but others doing it wrong should not keep oneself from starting to do it right, right? ;) Sure, indeed I have not. But I'm not sure right now it's worth the effort of migrating the names and dependencies. If we suddenly get a proliferation of soundfonts, then your suggestion is quite sensible. The proliferation is not happening soon: musescore-soundfont-gm is going away. I suppose another name could be tim-soundfont-gm, but that's not what people will search for (since here it's more widely known descriptively as TimGM6mb). Just wondering if you had started working on the packaging for obs-studio ? The Linux version is now officially out ! :) I am currently using OBS to stream to twitch using the source package available at upstream's PPA: https://launchpad.net/~obsproject/+archive/ubuntu/obs-studio. I rebuilt the package myself though ;) But I would prefer using the future official Debian package for this! I think libobs would need its own package for example, the ubuntu ppa packs everything into a single big binary package. Hopefully we can get obs-studio in Debian in a near future ! Bug#750837: ITP: moarvm -- virtual machine for Rakudo Perl 6 and NQP
Dominique Dumont d...@debian.org writes: Hello Daniel Hello, I've used moarvm package as a test case for 'cme update dpkg-copyright'. Turns out that some copyright entries from 3rdparty directories were missing. There were also some minor mistakes in the copyright owners. There's a better chance of having moarvm go through ftp-masters without missing entries in copyright file... Great, I was looking for a tool to manage this, it's quite cumbersome to do it by hand. I've also added a 'fix.scanned.copyright' file in debian to work around some limitations (or bugs) of licensecheck command. Last but not least: your previous work on debian/copyright is not wasted: some files cannot be scanned and 'cme update' did reuse the data you've created. The fix.scanned.copyright file [1] is needed for files where licensecheck returns bogus data. I've pushed the new debian copyright file [2] to copyright-cme-update branch on pkg-moarvm repo. Feel free to pick up what you want from this file or simply merge it on master. Ok, I merged it. I remove the “author variant” license paragraphes “BSD-2-clause~author” and “BSD-3-clause~Google” and manually fix the remaining “BSD-3-clause~author”. I also found (manually, cme is not that magic ;-p ) that the license you flagged as Other is a MIT variant. This update is pushed on master. [3] Once the copyright is done, I don't see any other issue to upload moarvm. I added the Upstream-Contact pointing to the “contribution” web page since it groups GitHub and IRC informations. Bug#760314: Zoneminder in Debian
Hi Zoneminder fans, I'm writing to you because once you've expressed interest to help maintaining Zoneminder in Debian. As you may already know recently we've lost zoneminder from unstable due to lack of effort because nobody cared enough: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=780289 I've just took over zoneminder maintenance in Debian from Peter Howard and re- introduced latest Zoneminder release 1.28.1 to unstable. Packaging is fully refurbished so it should be easier to maintain. Now the moment is here -- let's all work together, test, answer bugs, share patches, forward fixes upstream and do all what is necessary to never let Zoneminder fell behind again. I can't do it alone as I'm not even an active user of Zoneminder. From my short interaction with upstream I can tell that they answer bugs promptly and merge patches reasonably. It should be a positive experience to maintain Zoneminder with upstream like this. So please, pretty please let's work together and have fun in progress. :) What zoneminer needs now is testing, little polishing and more importantly staying on top of all issues. Here is zoneminder's PTS page where you can subscribe to updates and follow updates: https://packages.qa.debian.org/z/zoneminder.html TODO: fix kFreeBSD FTBFS. https://github.com/ZoneMinder/ZoneMinder/issues/771 Finally please do not rely on me regarding long-term Zoneminder maintenance.
