Great! I’ve just done a bunch of updates to the packaging and I think
it’s ready to go.

* updated to latest upstream release
* added extra build dependencies due to new release
* re-run wrap and sort

I made a bit of a mess forgetting to do a git pull, but nothing a minute
or two merging conflicts couldn’t fix.

What do you think about uploading?

I was working on Fleet as well but I did not push my changes... I reckon I
need to review your changes and merge. As I've mentioned, I think more work
is required but let me go into details a bit later when I check what's left
to do. I'll let you know when I push my changes so you could review before
upload if you wish.

Thank you.

The STK is a (not so) Small Toolbox for Kriging. Its primary focus
is on the interpolation/regression technique known as kriging,

method using a Gaussian Process (GP) prior. The STK also provides
tools for the sequential and non-sequential design of experiments.
Even though it is, currently, mostly geared towards the Design

 With this package installed, every Debian package (i.e. a *.deb file)
 dropped into /srv/local-apt-repository (which you need to creat first)
 will be available to apt.

 This package does not provide an apt repository to be used by other
 hosts. For that, look at more serious repository solutions like
 reprepro and apt-ftparchive.

This package also tries to use the nice features provided by systemd, in
this case path-monitoring and system activiation via path changes, so
that the repository is recreated as soon as the user drops a package
there.

The repo is already on alioth and in a working form; it seems that just
cgit is not yet aware of it.

* Package name: prospector
  Version : 0.9.9
  Upstream Author : Carl Crowder
* URL : https://github.com/landscapeio/prospector
* License : GPL-2+
  Programming Lang: Python
  Description : Python code analysis tool

Prospector is a tool to analyse Python code and output information about
errors, potential problems, convention violations and complexity.

It brings together the functionality of other Python analysis tools such
as pylint, pep8 and McCabe complexity. More information and a complete
list of supported tools is available on the documentation site.

The primary aim of Prospector is to be useful 'out of the box'. A common
complaint of other Python analysis tools is that it takes a long time to
filter through which errors are relevant or interesting to your own coding
style. Prospector provides some default profiles, which hopefully will
provide a good starting point and will be useful straight away, and adapts
the output depending on the libraries your project uses.

It would be nice to have this available to help check one's own Python
code.

Bug#799220: O: tintin++ -- classic text-based MUD client

2015-09-16 Thread Ana Guerrero Lopez
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

I have stopped playing MUDs, therefore I'm orphaning this package.
Adam Borowski has done some development in upstream so if he's interested
in adopting the package, he should have priority.

If you want to be the new maintainer, please see
http://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/index.html#howto-o for detailed
instructions how to adopt a package properly.

Some information about this package:

Description-en: classic text-based MUD client
 Tintin++ is telnet client specialized to play MUDs (Multi-User Dungeons).
 It has scripting support, tab-completion, internal chat, and takes
 advantage of the GNU readline library.
 .
 You can find a complete set of commands and features in the Tintin++ manual,
 in /usr/share/doc/tintin++.

Bug#799222: ITP: hitch -- scalable TLS proxy

Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Stig Sandbeck Mathisen

* Package name: hitch
  Version : 1.0.0~beta5
  Upstream Author : Varnish Software AB (and others)
* URL : https://hitch-tls.org/
* License : BSD
  Programming Lang: C
  Description : scalable TLS proxy

 hitch is a network proxy that terminates TLS/SSL connections and
 forwards the unencrypted traffic to some backend. It's designed to
 handle 10s of thousands of connections efficiently on multicore
 machines.
 .
 Features
  * TLS1.0, TLS1.1 and TLS1.2 support
  * SNI, with and without wildcard certificates.
  * Support for HAproxy's PROXY protocol.

hitch is a fork of stud (https://github.com/bumptech/stud) which has not
been packaged in Debian.

hitch is used at my workplace for TLS termination of online newspapers,
using Varnish as a backend.

Hitch will be maintained in the collab-maint group, or in the
pkg-varnish group. Extra hands for maintenance would be welcome.

I have never interacted with tintin++'s upstream in any way. I am guilty of
a fork, but the code has seriously diverged, both in implementation and
design.

Ok, I misread the changelog mention:

I was surprised because I expected you to use KBTin :) Thanks for the

Hi Philip,

The package looks good. However, since qtpass uses external tools like
gpg, git, pwgen, pass, you might need to add them into Depends to ensure
these tools present when someone installs qtpass.

Owner: Julien Puydt
X-Debbugs-CC: debian-pyt...@lists.debian.org

* Package name: traitlets
  Version : 4.0.0
  Upstream Author : IPython Development Team
* URL : https://github.com/ipython/traitlets
* License : BSD-3-clause

  Description : Lightweight Traits-like package
 A lightweight pure-Python derivative of Enthought Traits, used
 for configuring Python objects.
 .
