Bug#815948: RFP: terminal-quest -- Introduction to terminal commands in the style of a text adventure game
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist * Package name: terminal-quest Version : 2.1.0 Upstream Author : Caroline Clark* URL : https://github.com/KanoComputing/terminal-quest * License : GPL Programming Lang: C, Python Description : Introduction to terminal commands in the style of a text adventure game Enter the town of Folderton, a peaceful uneventful town. Until now. People are going missing, a mysterious bell keeps ringing and you receive notes from an enigmatic stranger. Grab a keyboard and figure out what is going on before it is too late. The town of Folderton is a filesystem which the user interacts with using Linux commands. By providing an engaging narrative (and heaps and heaps of ascii art), we give a context to commands like ls, cd, mv, cat, nano and echo, and make them easier to remember and understand.
Bug#783307: I volunteer for helping out
Hi there, I think this tool is great, and it deserves to be included in the official repository, so I'm deeply interested into helping out packaging fzf. If you could provide a link to your work, that would be an helpful start for working on that package. By the way, version is now at 0.11.3. Thanks.

Yeah, getting some experience with Debian's packaging is probably easier inside an active team than with a QA maintained, orphaned package. > I'd like to thank you all for the great support and the very kind > explanations, it is really a wonderful and very constructive > environment to work in. I'm glad it was helpful. For others interested in wicd's Debian packaging: I'd still join a wicd packaging team for Debian if someone else -- especially someone more python-savvy -- takes the lead. Bug#801253: O: wicd -- wired and wireless network manager
Hey. i won't adopt the maintainership for wicd, mainly because of upstream's inactivity. Basically, it seems that Tom van Braeckel is the only contributer currently, who doesn't have the time and priority to actively develop wicd. Therefore i don't see in wicd a future. I'm really interested in the technology, as well as debian packaging Hence, I'll ask in other debian teams/packages for contributing. I'd like to thank you all for the great support and the very kind explanations, it is really a wonderful and very constructive environment to work in. Thanks a lot!
