Bug#825255: ITP: gtextfsm -- Google textfsm package

2016-05-25 Thread Vincent Bernat
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Vincent Bernat

* Package name: gtextfsm
  Version : 0.2.1
  Upstream Author : Google
* URL : https://code.google.com/p/textfsm/
* License : Apache License, Version 2.0
  Programming Lang: Python
  Description : Google textfsm package

Binary package names: python-gtextfsm

 Python module which implements a template based state machine for
 parsing semi-formatted text. Originally developed to allow
 programmatic access to information returned from the command line
 interface (CLI) of networking devices.

This is unfortunately Python 2 only but I need it as a dependency for
napalm. There is a fork for Python 3 but unless patched, it is not a
drop-in replacement. napalm's upstream wants Python 3 support, so at
some point, they will switch to the fork.

If you want to be the new maintainer, please see

Bug#689573: (no subject)

2016-05-25 Thread W. Martin Borgert
After Kallithea forked from RhodeCode, some data changed:

Package name: kallithea
Version : 0.3.2
Upstream Author : kallit...@sfconservancy.org
URL : https://kallithea-scm.org/
License : GPL-3
Programming Lang: Python
Description : management tool for Mercurial and Git

The describe it as follows: "Kallithea is a fast and powerful
management tool for Mercurial and Git with a built in push/pull
server, full text search and code-review."

It seems, that the Kallithea source contains a lot of embedded
JS libraries. Fortunately, almost all of them are already in
Debian. The missing one, mergely from http://www.mergely.com/,
can be embedded in the package and separated later, IMHO.

What is the state of the packaging effort?

Bug#825316: ITP: webjars-locator-core -- Library to locate assets within WebJars

2016-05-25 Thread Emmanuel Bourg
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Emmanuel Bourg

* Package name: webjars-locator-core
  Version : 0.30
  Upstream Author : James Ward
* URL : http://webjars.org
* License : MIT
  Programming Lang: Java
  Description : WebJars Locator Core

WebJars are client-side web libraries (e.g. jQuery & Bootstrap) packaged
into JAR files. They allow one to:
 * Explicitly and easily manage the client-side dependencies in JVM-based
   web applications
 * Use JVM-based build tools (e.g. Maven, Gradle...) to download client-side
   dependencies
 * Know which client-side dependencies are used
 * Resolve transitive dependencies automatically and optionally load them
   via RequireJS

The WebJars Locator Core library provides a means to locate assets within
WebJars.

This library is a new dependency of libspring-java. It'll be maintained
by the Java Team.
