Bug#829153: ITP: straight.plugin -- A simple namespaced plugin facility for Python
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Sergio Durigan Junior* Package name: straight.plugin Version : 1.4.1 Upstream Author : Calvin Spealman et al * URL : https://github.com/ironfroggy/straight.plugin * License : Expat (MIT) Programming Lang: Python Description : A simple namespaced plugin facility for Python straight.plugin is a Python plugin loader inspired by twisted.plugin with two important distinctions: - Fewer dependencies - Python 3 compatible The system is used to allow multiple Python packages to provide plugins within a namespace package, where other packages will locate and utilize. The plugins themselves are modules in a namespace package where the namespace identifies the plugins in it for some particular purpose or intent. This package is a dependency necessary for pagure. Bug#630920: RFH: rng-tools -- Daemon to use a Hardware TRNG
Hi Henrique, I am interested in comaintaining the rng-tools; however, I do not believe I have sufficient proficiency in C to be the sole maintainer. If I had any hard to answer cryptography questions I would ask Ron, the maintainer of bit-babbler, who I've been collaborating with and learning from. Are you looking for someone who can complete everything in the debian/TODO and resolve all open bugs? After reading through them I see that the bug+patch I reported (#825872) should probably be updated in light of https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=542599#72 Regards, Nicholas

Thanks everybody who replied to the ITP! (And I'm subscribed to debian-devel, but thanks Paul for the reminder). I closed the bug yesterday after Sandro Tosi pointed out the same thing: that pastebinit already supports fpaste.org. Even though I don't like the way pastebinit works, I decided to withdraw the ITP. Oh, it's worth mentioning that pastebinit's support for fpaste is broken. I reported a bug upstream about it. The major methods include cubic, and thin plate splines, Kriging and compact covariances for large data sets. The splines and Kriging methods are supported by functions that can determine the smoothing parameter (nugget and sill variance) and other covariance parameters by cross validation and also by restricted maximum likelihood. For Kriging there is an easy to use function that also estimates the correlation scale (range). A major feature is that any covariance function implemented in R and following a simple fields format can be used for spatial prediction. There are also many useful functions for plotting and working with spatial data as images. This package also contains an implementation of sparse matrix methods for large spatial data sets.
