 abduco provides session management i.e. it allows programs to be run
 independently from their controlling terminal. That is programs can
 be detached - run in the background - and then later
 reattached. Together with dvtm it provides a simpler and cleaner
 alternative to tmux or screen.

 abduco is in many ways very similar to dtach but is a completely
 independent implementation which is actively maintained, contains no
 legacy code, provides a few additional features, has a cleaner, more
 robust implementation and is distributed under the ISC license.

Abduco was removed from Debian in may because it was out of date. This
is an attempt at updating the package to a more recent versions that
is hopefully more stable.

I intend to replace my screen setup with dvtm + abduco shortly.

Before the ITP submission, I contacted the former package maintainer:
1] when he submitted the ROM he was not aware that Sage[Math] depends on 
speaklater (Sage[Math] is being ported to Debian [1]);
2] he encourage me to revive the package if I think it is necessary.

Otherwise, I will of course take into account the previous maintenance work, 
even if I paln to maintain through git
rather than SVN; my first work will be to migrate from SVN to git).

 dh-text provides a debhelper sequence addon named 'text' and command
 'dh_text', that creates a substitution variable for every field of
 special form in first stanza of 'debian/control'.
 .
 This is especially useful, when you have several binary packages with
 very similar descriptions.

I plan to maintain this package myself, keeping debianization
in following Git repository:

Partly because Python’s logging module aims to be so generic, it doesn’t come
with sensible defaults for CLI applications. At some point you might also want
to expose more logging levels through more options, at which point the
boilerplate code grows even more.
This is where click-log comes in.
