Bug#648249: zram script: use one zram device for each CPU
Hello, I instaled the Ubuntu script, and it works perfectly. The script that Dmitry Smirnov presented also works, but creates only zram0. The Ubuntu script creates one for each CPU (so that compressing and decompressing work is spread among them). For an 8-core system, for example, this may be really nice. Also, it would be good to have a method not only to turn on zram, but also to turn it off -- like "service zram stop". And having "service status zram" available is also great. And -- having it packaged as Ubuntu does helps make the whole system more consistent (using "service action" for things that can be turned on, off, enabled at startup is really a good thing, IMHO). J.

I've uploaded a new version addressing, I hope, those issues. The new version is rebased on the last debian version in unstable. Debian patches were removed since no longer needed (more in the changelog). Changelog now includes "Closes: #" Regarding the man page, I've composed a new version collecting output of eyeD3 --help and other documentation of the project: I'll soon write to upstream to propose merge of this manpage, it is already in the deb. The url of the upload is still https://mentors.debian.net/package/eyed3 Thank you, Gaetano

Upstream description: Various situations call for testing whether an empirical sample can be presumed to have been drawn from a normally (Gaussian|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Normal_distribution) distributed population, especially because many downstream significance tests depend upon the assumption of normality. This package implements some of the more well-known tests|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Normality_test from the mathematical statistics literature, though there are also others that are not included. The tests here are all so-called omnibus tests that find departures from normality on the basis of skewness and/or kurtosis [Dagostino71]. Note that, although the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kolmogorov%E2%80%93Smirnov_test can also be used in this capacity, it is a distance test and therefore not advisable [Dagostino71]. This, and other distance tests (e.g. Chi-square) are not implemented here. --- End Message --- --- Begin Message --- Source: libstatistics-normality-perl Source-Version: 0.01-1 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of libstatistics-normality-perl, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive. Bug#837078: missing make install option
Hi wookey, I tried to install this library on my Xilinx Zynq ARM board with Ubuntu 16.04.01. I noticed make install was missing. I searched bug reports and pull requests for some help and found a patch. I updated some whitespace as requested by upstream developers and created a new pull request: https://github.com/projectNe10/Ne10/pull/134 But I do not have cmake experience so I can not comment on the quality of the provided patch. Regards, Iztok Jeras

Once accepted upstream that delta will be rebased for 16.07 topic branch to match the accepted version. For 16.11 I expect them to be upstream so on that topic branch we can drop the delta then.
