Should I name the package differently? It looks good to me. The only thing I'm not sure about is "fdm" in the name; in scientific articles, I've learned to use "fff" (fused filament fabrication), because "fdm" is trademarked AFAIK. But it's certainly legal to use it in this way, and since they've put it in the name, I would just keep it. > I also added python3-zeroconf to Recommends:, this allows Cura to autodiscover > networked UM3 printers. It is driven by PHP and MySQL (or SQLite), and has a great standard theme and robust module engine. You can personalize and modify it any way you want. All of your content is powered by a unique Feathers system that allows Chyrp to be whatever you want it to be. You can post anything and everything, or just stick to the default Text feather and run a regular blog. Among the functions included in PLL are parsing multiple sequence alignments (MSA) from PHYLIP and FASTA files, reading Newick trees, performing topological moves such as SPR and NNI, model optimization, likelihood evaluation and partitioned analysis by assigning different substitution models to each partition of the MSA. PLL fully implements the GTR nucleotide substitution model for DNA data and a number of models for aminoacid data. Bug#861721: ITP: e-mem -- Efficient computation of Maximal Exact Matches for very large genomes
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Andreas Tille * Package name: e-mem Version : 0.0+20160706 Upstream Author : Nilesh Khiste, Lucian Ilie * URL : http://www.csd.uwo.ca/~ilie/E-MEM/ * License : GPL Programming Lang: C++ Description : Efficient computation of Maximal Exact Matches for very large genomes E-MEM enables efficient computation of Maximal Exact Matches (MEMs) that does not use full text indexes. The algorithm uses much less space and is highly amenable to parallelization. It can compute all MEMs of minimum length 100 between the whole human and mouse genomes on a 12 core machine in 10 min and 2 GB of memory; the required memory can be as low as 600 MB. It can run efficiently genomes of any size. Extensive testing and comparison with currently best algorithms is provided. . Mummer has many different scripts where one of the key program is MEM computation. In all the scripts, the MEM computation program can be replaced with e-mem with ease for better performance. Remark: I wonder whether the package name is not to generic but do not see a really strong reason to rename the package. The package will be maintained by the Debian Med team at https://anonscm.debian.org/git/debian-med/e-mem.git
Bug#861720: ITP: fonts-fandol -- Fandol fonts designed for Chinese typesetting
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Boyuan Yang <073p...@gmail.com> X-Debbugs-CC: pkg-fonts-de...@lists.alioth.debian.org, debian-tex-ma...@lists.debian.org, debian-chinese...@lists.debian.org * Package name: fonts-fandol Version : 0.3 Upstream Author : Clerk Ma * URL : https://www.ctan.org/pkg/fandol * License : GPL-3 with fonts exception Description : Fandol fonts designed for Chinese typesetting Fandol fonts are free Chinese fonts licensed under GPLv3 (with fonts exception). It intends to provide good libre fonts for Chinese typesetting. Current version contains four font styles: Song (serif), Hei (sans), Kai (cursive) and Fang. All those fonts are OpenType fonts. Those fonts are originally distributed aloneside TeX Live suite. Now I intend to package them separately so that system fontconfig may load them as well. Duplication is unavoidable, so some discussions with TeX maintainers would be necessary after this package enters Debian (just like what happened with fonts-arphic-*). I intend to co-maintain this package inside Debian Fonts team (pkg-fonts-devel). -- Sincerely, Boyuan Yang signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part.

This version contains the complete 897 character set, which includes the standard ISO Latin 1, Latin CE, Greek and Cyrillic character sets. Open Sans was designed with an upright stress, open forms and a neutral, yet friendly appearance. It was optimized for print, web, and mobile interfaces, and has excellent legibility characteristics in its letterforms. This is a part of my Google Summer of Code project on packaging elementary software for Debian, see https://wiki.debian.org/SummerOfCode2014/Projects/PackageElementarySoftware for more information. Although Open Sans is already provided by the texlive-fonts-extra package, shipping it in a separate package is required to bring down the installed size for elementary-theme combined with dependencies from over 750Mb to under 5Mb. Bug#706656: [3dprinter-general] Bug#706656: ITP: cura -- Controller for 3D printers
Hi, I just found a few more packages to build: https://github.com/Ultimaker/cura-build/tree/master/projects fdm_materials seems relatively important, I packaged it and added it as a "Recommends" dependency to Cura. Cura will work without the definitions, but having them makes it much more useful. Here: https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/3dprinter/packages/fdm-materials.git/ Any opinions? Should I name the package differently? I also added python3-zeroconf to Recommends:, this allows Cura to autodiscover networked UM3 printers. Cura-Doodle3D and Cura-Postprocessing are still missing, but I think those aren't crucial for the moment. I'll add them later. Have a good day, Greg signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature
