  Description : high-level library for nftables framework

libnftables is high-level library for the nftables framework.

A bit of background: at first, the current libnftnl (low-level library for the
nftables framework) was called libnftables. But just before libnftables was
released, the Netfilter folks renamed it to libnftnl, so the name
libnftables was keep reserved for this high-level library.

As announced by the Netfilter folks, the release of libnftables is about
to happen.

I found it more intuitive for users were using pavucontrol already,
the interface is user friendlier and customizable[1][2] than pulsemixer.
By the other hand it lacks of the command processing interface that pulsemixer
has.
Is this any better than pulsemixer? IMO this is better for some users they only
want to manage easily pulseaudio from the terminal and they want to customize
its keybindings (like me)

Description: manipulate zoo archives
 Zoo is used to create and maintain collections of files in

 selectively extract multiple generations of the same file.

Bug#885396: ITP: static3 -- Really simple WSGI way to serve static content

* Package name: static3
  Version : 0.7.0
  Upstream Author : Roman Mohr
* URL : https://github.com/rmohr/static3
* License : LGPL-2.1
  Programming Lang: Python
  Description : Really simple WSGI way to serve static content

This library provides an easy way to include static content in
your WSGI applications. There is a convenience method for serving
files located via pkg_resources. There are also facilities for
serving mixed (static and dynamic) content using “magic” file
handlers. Python builtin string substitution, kid and Genshi
template support are provided and it is easy to roll your own
handlers. Note that this distribution does not require kid or
Genshi unless you want to use that type of template. Also provides
a command of the same name as a convenience when you just want to
share a little content over HTTP, ad hoc.

It is a dependency for dj-static, which is already in Debian.

* Package name: frontaccounting
  Version : 2.4.3
  Upstream Author : FrontAccounting Team
* URL : http://www.frontaccounting.com/
* License : GPL3
  Programming Lang: PHP
  Description : web-based double entry accounting and ERP application

Simple but powerful accounting system supporting most every day business
operations like sales, purchases, simple manufacturing, fixed assets
depreciation and other processes. After initial system configuration all
necessary GL postings are done automatically, so the system can be operated
without double entry accounting skills. Manual GL posting of any not directly
supported business operation is also possible.

The program in older version was previously packaged in wheezy, but since then
it was orphaned in Debian, so is absent in later distributions. Now I've
created new package based on latest stable upstream release, including all
improvements made upstream during the years.

There is probably no such application currently available in Debian, so the
frontaccounting package would fill the long lasting gap for SME web based
accounting program.

Hi,

New version of this package has been prepared and is available for
review at https://mentors.debian.net/package/frontaccounting

The new package is based on latest 2.4.3 upstream FrontAccounting
version. All the critical and important bugs reported on BTS for the old
package (i.e. closed with +rm tag) where also fixed.

IMHO, it would be nice to have this in Debian to keep useful
packages like xul-ext-scrapbook alive.

2017-12-26 Thread Sean Whitton

Control: block 885384 by -1

Hello Clojure team,

I am packaging CIDER for Debian, as elpa-cider. But I need the
cider-nrepl middleware in Debian first. Otherwise, `M-x cider-jack-in`
will download jars from the Internet with no warning, which is not
acceptable for a Debian package.

I'm told that you Clojure guys love CIDER ... if you'd like to be able
to install it with apt-get, please consider helping me by packaging the
cider-nrepl middleware for Debian :)

Otherwise, I'll convert this RFP to an ITP at some point, but it may take
me some time to learn enough about Java to package a Clojure library.

2017-12-26 Thread Jeremy Bicha
Hi Adam,

Would you be interested in team maintenance and a bit of an experiment?

I was planning to start a Team for several months, but after I became
a DD and was about to request a team be set up, I found that there
wasn't really an obvious path for how to do that any more.
https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2017/09/msg00221.html

Now, things still aren't very clear but I guess it sort of works. We
can create a GitLab team and a Debian Tracker team. We can use
@packages.debian.org as the Maintainer for now.

See also today's debian-devel list discussion about salsa.debian.org.

Thanks,
Jeremy Bicha

Just a heads up, I am still interested in this and have been working on

see. 😁

For future reference, what's the best way to submit a patch?

Bug#885444: O: phantomjs -- minimalistic headless WebKit-based browser with JavaScript API

2017-12-26 Thread Dmitry Smirnov
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

I don't have enough capacity left to look after _phantomjs_
hence it needs new maintainer...

Maintaining this package requires time and skills. Please only adopt this
package if you will have enough time and attention to work on it.

If you want to be the new maintainer, please see [1] for detailed
instructions how to adopt a package properly.
