Bug#907733: RFA: curlpp
Package: wnpp Severity: normal I no longer have interest in maintaining this package. There are 2 RC bugs which are fairly simple to fix but I'd like to focus my attention elsewhere. If someone is interested in becoming a Debian contributor, these two RC bugs are pretty easy to fix, and are a good "starter material" to get you on board with Debian packaging. X

Description: Turn based strategy game Tenes Empanadas Graciela is a clone of Plan Tactico y Estrategico de la Guerra, based on Risk. . Teg is a multiplayer game (it can be played across the internet) and it comes with a server, a GNOME client and a robot. It has support for IPv6, too. Upstream: https://github.com/wfx/teg I am not quite sure how I ended up in the Uploaders field anyways, but I did not give any love to the package in the last years and do not intend to change that. The package is maintained under the pkg-games umbrella, but has no human Uploaders left in SVN. \o Evgeni --- End Message --- --- Begin Message --- On Tue, 27 Dec 2016 17:26:41 +0100 Evgeni Golov wrote: > Package: wnpp > Severity: normal > > Ohai, > > I would like to request the adoption of teg (inside of pkg-games?). We still would appreciate new contributors who are interested in maintaining games. However the current situation for teg is no longer critical since Yavor Doganov ported the game to GNOME 3. Hence I am going to close this bug report now. Markus signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature --- End Message ---
Bug#907705: ITP: mmm -- minimalistic media manager
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: "Felix C. Stegerman" * Package name: mmm Version : 0.4.1 Upstream Author : Felix C. Stegerman * URL : https://github.com/obfusk/m * License : GPLv3+ Programming Lang: Python Description : minimalistic media manager m keeps track of which files you've played (or are still playing) and thus allows you to easily continue playing the next file (using vlc or mpv). I'm the upstream author and I use it a lot myself (instead of kodi); some of my friends do as well. As a Debian user I wanted to be able to install it as a Debian package, so I turned it into a native Debian package. It builds (reproducibly) using dpkg-buildpackage. I'm hoping to eventually become a Debian Developer/Maintainer, but for now I'd need a sponsor to get this into Debian. Thanks. - Felix

Running inside the browsers comes with some speed cost, on the other hand it means for example the code is tested against the real- world DOM implementations. The approach also enables to write integration tests such that the JavaScript code is tested against server-side Python code mocked as necessary. Any server-sideframework that can already be exposed through WSGI (or for which a subset of WSGI can be written to accommodate the jskit own needs) can play along. --- End Message --- --- Begin Message --- RFP 616071 has no visible progress for a long time, so closing.--- End Message ---

Bug#907690: ITP: elph -- DNA/protein sequence motif finder
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Steffen Moeller * Package name: elph Version : 1.0.1 * URL : http://www.cbcb.umd.edu/software/ELPH/ * License : Artistic Programming Lang: C++ Description : DNA/protein sequence motif finder ELPH (Estimated Locations of Pattern Hits) is a general-purpose Gibbs sampler for finding motifs in a set of DNA or protein sequences. The program takes as input a set containing anywhere from a few dozen to thousands of sequences, and searches through them for the most common motif, assuming that each sequence contains one copy of the motif. We have used ELPH to find patterns such as ribosome binding sites (RBSs) and exon splicing enhancers (ESEs). The package is team maintained and due to appear on https://salsa.debian.org/med-team/elph.
