* Package name: pmdk-convert
  Version : 1.5.1
  Upstream Author : Intel
* URL : https://github.com/pmem/pmdk-convert

  Description : convert pmdk/pmemobj pools to a newer on-memory format
 The on-memory format of data pools used by libpmemobj is not compatible
 between major releases, and the library doesn't currently support automatic
 conversion. Such upgrades need to be done manually, by this tool.

I would like to find a new maintainer to ruby-mime. ruby-mime is under Debian
Ruby Extras Maintainers Team[1]. ruby-mime is a build dependency for my package
cewl, that is under Debian Forensics Team[2]. So, I need someone to maintain
this package in good conditions in Debian.

The package is updated, without bugs and builds fine. It is very easy to be
maintained.

Regards,

Eriberto

Hello

I want to request the removal of the uptimed package

package works on long running servers, but breaks with non-rtc systems
[1], leap second [2], and general bugginess that hasn't been solved in
years [3]

Some time ago I discovered tuptime which has none of this bugs, a
responsive upstream and a modern codebase.

Ricardo (tuptime upstream and Debian maintainer) has agreed to add a
note to tuptime's long description about uptimed (for people doing
`apt-cache search uptimed`) and a migration script [4]

I'll submit a patch to Buster release notes regarding the removal.

thanks

   * Fix Vcs-Browser header.
   * Update short description to fit the new one-package layout.
   * Set "Rules-Requires-Root: no".
   * Add a DEP-12 debian/upstream/metadata file.
   * Create debian/clean to clean up leftover debian/uptimed.conf.5 file.
   * Clean up debian/rules:
 + Don't run dh_clean in build target, use debian/clean instead.
 + Call onsgmls inside the debian directory. Calling mv no more needed.
 + Don't override dh_install for "make install", but dh_auto_install.
 + Actually use dh_auto_install instead of "$(MAKE) install" with
   Debian's default parameters.
 + Shorten some multiline commands using a variable for a common path.
 + Use plain "cp" instead of "install -D -m 644" since directory is
   already created via dh_installdirs.
   * Fix debian/gbp.conf:
 + Declare actually used upstream branch (master).
 + Drop what is default anyway (compression = xz).
 + Don't use the same tag syntax for Debian as upstream does, i.e. drop
   the non-standard upstream tag syntax declaration.
   * Import upstream version 0.4.1.
 + Switches from utmp.h to utmpx.h.
 + Documentation updates
 + Drop spelling-fixes.patch, applied upstream.
   * Drop redundant entries from debian/uptimed.{install,manpages,dirs}.
   * Declare compliance with Debian Policy 4.3.0. (No changes needed.)
   * Apply "wrap-and-sort -a".

Bug#922716: RFP: node-gulp-spawn-mocha -- a plugin for gulp which runs Mocha tests in a separate process from the gulp process.

* Package name: node-gulp-spawn-mocha
  Version : 5.0.1
  Upstream Author : Kenneth Powers
* URL :
http://kldvekwm4tgy2es6h245d2dfbqrtioldwbakrvxcy3yptsorf6q6vmyd.onion/dir?ci=tip
* License : MIT
  Programming Lang: javascript
  Description : a plugin for gulp which runs Mocha tests in a separate
process from the gulp process.

Each time tests are run a new child process is created meaning the test
environment always starts cleanly,
i.e., globals are reset as are non-enumerable properties defined on native
prototypes via
Object.defineProperty. This also means that if your tests crash the node
process (e.g., process.exit(-1).)
then an error event is emitted rather than your whole gulp process crashing
(good for watching).

The original gulp-mocha is fine in most circumstances. If you need your tests
to run as a separate process
(or a separate process is simply your preference for the reasons specified
above) or you need to use a
custom version of Mocha (e.g., a fork with bug fixes or custom functionality)
then you should use this
plugin.

node-gulp-spawn-mocha is a dependency of mist ( #827314 )

 KMA is mapping a method designed to map raw reads directly against
 redundant databases, in an ultra-fast manner using seed and extend. KMA
 is particularly good at aligning high quality reads against highly
 redundant databases, where unique matches often does not exist. It works
 for long low quality reads as well, such as those from Nanopore. Non-

 consensus sequence are outputtet in addition to other common attributes.

Paride was talking about the *binary name*, Scott is talking about the
*package name*. (Consequently he has probably been following the
conversation just fine). Quite aside from the binary name clash
problems, "dt" is a very short package name, and a more descriptive
package name would serve as a form of self-documentation. "dnstool"
would seem perfectly consistent with the way upstream refer to the
project (GitHub title: DNS tool - display information about your domain)

We have migrated all repos from alioth to salsa [0], so if
libcompress-snappy-perl is not around, it most probably was removed
from alioth already before.

Maybe someone still has a local copy on their harddisk or in their
backups? But probably just running dh-make-perl is faster :)

I am interested in reviving the packaging of Compress::Snappy. However,
the packaging repository [1] does not seem to be migrated to salsa.d.o.
Is there a way to access it now?

Best wishes,
Andrius
