(And do you intend to package such a backend?) It appears to only work with SteamVR, which is proprietary. If this only works with SteamVR or other proprietary backends, or in general if Debian doesn't have any Open Source backend for this, it'll have to go to contrib, not main.

Bug#933559: RFA: ocaml-fileutils -- File manipulation for OCaml
Package: wnpp Severity: normal Hello, Currently, ocaml-fileutils has no human maintainers. It is maintained by the Debian OCaml team because of the need of transition coordination, but needs more love and a dedicated maintainer. A potential maintainer should get familiar with [1], and in particular with our policy and practices, and get subscribed to our mailing-list. Ok, I had a look, and it seems we had just done the same :) I have thus removed the branch. Thanks for creating the repo etc. anyway! I'll wait a bit in case somebody sees a red flag concerning migrating to python3-dogtail directly, and upload. Samuel

Sorry if my reply was unclear: I think it's fine to move to python3-dogtail directly. Cheers! Ulrike

I have done some work on the packaging locally, but I haven't pushed it to the repository because I did not have time to test what I did and if I remember correctly, after merging the new upstream version, patches needed updates and the package did not build correctly anymore. (January?! Wow, that was a long time ago and this feels really stupid to not have finished this work). I'll send you my modifications and you can use whatever you need and what makes sense to you (I updated some patches, added gbp.conf, updated from upstream). > Since python2 packages are being phased out, perhaps we can simply > directly move to python3-dogtail, or do some people still need a > python-dogtail package?
