Bug#924040: #924040 ITP: archivebox -- open source self-hosted web archive

Thanks a lot for the feedback.

Upstream addressed that already so I've packaging a new upstream snapshot to
pick up changes.

> - when starting archivebox, I'm getting a strange message:
>"fatal: not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git"

That was a version detection implying that archivebox executable is running
from git repository. I've patched away this logic and embedded package
version.

> - archivebox likes to write to /usr/share/output/, which
>probably should be ~/.cache/archivebox/

Indeed it is an inconvenient default even though it is customizable by
setting "OUTPUT_DIR" environment variable or in "~/.ArchiveBox.conf" as per
template in

  /usr/share/doc/archivebox/examples/ArchiveBox.conf.default

I've patched ArchiveBox to use current working directory.
"~/.cache/archivebox/" feels oddly specific...

>but get the error:

>/usr/share/output/archive/1583964646 remains empty

It has been fixed by recent updates to packaging. I could successfully
archive some web sites but archived debian.org seems to CSS so the menu is
not rendered properly...

I need Scrapbook alternative as well but I'll be working slowly towards that
goal due to pressure from other priorities. I'm yet to learn how to use
ArchiveBox... Also upstream prepares some serious changes for next release --
I hope it won't be too difficult to package. I'd appreciate any help with
ArchiveBox.

Did you have a look at Archivematica by any chance?

This is a simple PO file to ruby hash parser, which complies with GNU PO file

The parser is probably as optimized for speed as possible with pure ruby,
while parsing all different PO types into seperate keys. It was written as a
"core-replacement" for an equivalent parslet PEG parser for arashm/PoParser
and benchmarked about 500 times faster.

Help includes:
- triaging bug reports: trying to reproduce a bug or ask for
reproducibility, test with newer versions of the packages
- proposing merge requests to improve packaging or to fix bugs
- improving the tests

Note that help is needed in all packages of the pkg-samba team, but
the "samba" package is where most of the work is needed.

Hi,
I am no longer a user this package and I am not able to keep up with the
updates, especially because they need to be syncronized with mercurial
updates.

I request an adopter for the tortoisehg package, please.

Thank you,
Ludovico

The package description is:
TortoiseHg provides a graphical tool for interacting with the distributed
revision control system Mercurial. GUI support is provided for over a dozen
operations, including add files, commit changes, manage ignore filter, view
change log, merge, recover/rollback, edit configuration, synchronize
repository, and many others. The highlight is the interactive commit tool
which allows easy selection of diffs from multiple files and packaging into
changesets, and which is more powerful and easier to use than available
alternatives such as qct and hgct (commit-tool).

Bug#953859: ITP: dimmer-el -- visually highlight the selected buffer

2020-03-13 Thread Lev Lamberov
Package: wnpp
Owner: Lev Lamberov
Severity: wishlist

* Package name: dimmer-el
  Version : 0.4.2
  Upstream Author : Neil Okamoto
* URL or Web page : https://github.com/gonewest818/dimmer.el
* License : GPL-3+
  Programming Lang: Emacs Lisp
Description : visually highlight the selected buffer

This package provides a minor mode that indicates which buffer is
currently active by dimming the faces in the other buffers. It does this
nondestructively, and computes the dimmed faces dynamically such that
your overall color scheme is shown in a muted form without requiring you
to define what is a "dim" version of every face.

dimmer.el can be configured to adjust foreground colors (default),
background colors, or both.
