 Google Android Studio (IDE) Installer
This package will download the Google Android Studio package and create a
 Debian package.
 .
Android Studio is the official integrated development environment (IDE) for
Android platform development and provides the fastest tools for building apps
on every type of Android device.

Upon thinking about this, I don't think it makes sense to create this
package. Users should just follow Google's instructions. This package
will break how Google updates Android Studio since the expectation is
that it is installed as a user, and then downloads and installs updates
itself.--- End Message ---

Bug#964446: sane-airscan stuck in NEW

2020-08-03 Thread Till Kamppeter
sane-airscan got uploaded something like 3 weeks ago and is still stuck
in NEW. What is happening? What is missing?

OdyX, as I like to add sane-airscan to Ubuntu 20.10 and it will most
probably not get into unstable in time before Ubuntu's Feature Freeze on
August 27, I would like to ask you whether you could send me the source
files of your package (current version, 9.99.10-1, tarball, dsc,
debian.tar.gz) and/or tell me whether there is a GIT repo for the packaging.

Thanks in advance.

SeqKit describes a cross-platform ultrafast comprehensive toolkit for
FASTA/Q processing. SeqKit provides executable binary files for all
major operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X, and can
be directly used without any dependencies or pre-configurations. SeqKit
demonstrates competitive performance in execution time and memory usage
compared to similar tools. The efficiency and usability of SeqKit enable
researchers to rapidly accomplish common FASTA/Q file manipulations.

I will maintain this package.

Bug#967030: ITP: cockpit-podman -- Cockpit component for Podman containers

2020-08-03 Thread Martin Pitt
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Martin Pitt

* Package name: cockpit-podman
  Version : 20
Upstream Author : Cockpit development team

* URL : https://github.com/cockpit-project/cockpit-podman/
* License : LGPL-2.1+
  Description :
The Cockpit Web Console enables users to administer GNU/Linux servers using a
   web browser.
   .
This package adds an user interface for Podman containers.

podman itself finally made it to testing [1], so I recently added some Debian
packaging upstream [2], and started testing it in CI. As soon as conmon gets
updated to a recent version [3] (the one in unstable does not work with
podman), cockpit-podman will be fully functioning [4] and get first-class
support/CI in upstream.

Dmitry, Reinhard, I'd be very happy to team-maintain this if you are
interested. I don't like single-maintainer packages :) I can take the primary
responsibility of keeping the code alive with both upstream code changes and
changes in Debian, and packaging new upstream releases. But you may also be
interested in that project?

Thanks,

Martin

Description : combine the power of Gmsh with the versatility of Python

Gmsh is a powerful mesh generation tool with a scripting language that
is notoriously hard to write.

The goal of pygmsh is to combine the power of Gmsh with the
versatility of Python and to provide useful abstractions from the Gmsh
scripting language so you can create complex geometries more easily.

Used by dolfinx (in tests).

To be maintained with the Debian Science Team alongside pygalmesh.
