This tool's goal is to be able to produce a high amount of UDP packets per second and TCP sessions per second on common hardware. The purpose can be to simulate Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks on the DNS and measure normal DNS querying. For example, the tool could enable you to take a snapshot of a DDoS and be able to replay it later to test if new code or hardening techniques are useful, safe & effective. Another example is to be able to replay a packet stream for a bug that is sequence- and/or timing-related in order to validate the efficacy of subsequent bug fixes. --- End Message --- --- Begin Message --- Source: drool Source-Version: 2.0.0-1 Done: Daniel Baumann We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of drool, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive. Thus, making HTML reports is easy. Includes a function that allows redirection on the fly, which appears to be very useful for teaching purpose, as the student can keep a copy of the produced output to keep all that he did during the course. Package comes with a vignette describing how to write HTML reports for statistical analysis. Finally, a driver for 'Sweave' allows to parse HTML flat files containing R code and to automatically write the corresponding outputs (tables and graphs). ESDM exploits structural information exposed by workflows, applications as well as data description formats such as HDF5 and NetCDF to more efficiently organize metadata and data across a variety of storage backends. Bug#1006501: ITP: snpsift -- tool to annotate and manipulate genome variants
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Debian-med team X-Debbugs-Cc: debian-de...@lists.debian.org, debian-...@lists.debian.org * Package name: snpsift Version : 5.1 Upstream Author : Pablo Cingolani * URL : https://pcingola.github.io/SnpEff/ss_introduction/ * License : Expat Programming Lang: Java Description : tool to annotate and manipulate genome variants SnpSift is a toolbox that allows one to filter and manipulate annotated files. Once the genomic variants have been annotated, one needs to filter them out in order to find the "interesting / relevant variants". Given the large data files, this is not a trivial task (e.g. one cannot load all the variants into XLS spreadsheet). SnpSift helps to perform this VCF file manipulation and filtering required at this stage in data processing pipelines. The package will be team-maintained by Debian-med team.
