Bug#1011321: ITP: flask-jwt-extended -- Flask extension that provides JWT support

2022-05-19 Thread Joseph Nahmias

Severity: wishlist
Owner: Joseph Nahmias
X-Debbugs-Cc: debian-de...@lists.debian.org, debian-pyt...@lists.debian.org,
j...@nahmias.net, lily.gilb...@hey.com

* Package name: flask-jwt-extended
  Version : 4.4.0
  Upstream Author : Lily Acadia Gilbert
* URL : https://github.com/vimalloc/flask-jwt-extended
* License : Expat
  Programming Lang: Python
  Description : Flask extension that provides JWT support

 Flask-JWT-Extended not only adds support for using JSON Web Tokens (JWT) to
 Flask for protecting routes, but also many helpful (and optional) features
 built in to make working with JSON Web Tokens easier. These include:
 .
  * Adding custom claims to JSON Web Tokens
  * Automatic user loading (current_user).
  * Custom claims validation on received tokens
  * Refresh tokens
  * First class support for fresh tokens for making sensitive changes.
  * Token revoking/blocklisting
  * Storing tokens in cookies and CSRF protection

Needed as a dependency of Flask-AppBuilder.
I plan to maintain this as part of the Debian Python Team (DPT).

 Flye is a de novo assembler for single molecule sequencing reads, such
 as those produced by PacBio and Oxford Nanopore Technologies. It is
 designed for a wide range of datasets, from small bacterial projects to
 large mammalian-scale assemblies. The package represents a complete
 pipeline: it takes raw PacBio / ONT reads as input and outputs polished
 contigs. Flye also has a special mode for metagenome assembly.

Shobhika is a free, open source, Unicode compliant, OpenType font with
support for Devanāgarī, Latin, and Cyrillic scripts. It is available in two
weights—regular and bold. The font is designed with over 1600 Devanāgarī
glyphs, including support for over 1100 conjunct consonants, as well as
vedic accents. The project has been launched under the auspices of the
Science and Heritage Initiative (SandHI) at IIT Bombay

and builds upon the following two fonts for its Devanāgarī and Latin
components respectively: (i) Yashomudra

Both of these ITPs have been open for a long time and ULS (#871594) is
hard to package with growing extension dependencies and font-shobhika
(#886300) has no clear license and dependencies on proprietary tools.

3 years have passed since the ITP, 1½ years have passed since the followup.

if Ron is no longer interested in packaging libopusenc, i would be happy

 It is provided by Gorilla which is a web toolkit for the Go
 programming language.

I intend to maintain this under the pkg-go umbrella. it is a build
dependency currently vendered by the podman package (and possibly others)

Bug#1011274: ITP:php-amphp-http-client -- Asynchronous concurrent HTTP/2 and HTTP/1.1 client built on the Amp concurrency framework

2022-05-19 Thread Katharina Drexel
Package: wnpp

* Package name: php-amphp-http-client
  Upstream Author : Daniel Lowrey
* License : MIT
  Description : Asynchronous concurrent HTTP/2 and HTTP/1.1 client
 .
 This package provides an asynchronous HTTP client for PHP based on Amp.
 Its API simplifies standards-compliant HTTP resource traversal and RESTful web
 service consumption without obscuring the underlying protocol. The library
 manually implements HTTP over TCP sockets; as such it has no dependency on
 ext/curl.

Katharina

Bug#1011270: ITP:php-amphp-amp -- Non-blocking concurrency framework for PHP

2022-05-19 Thread Katharina Drexel
Package: wnpp

* Package name: php-amphp-amp
  Upstream Author : Daniel Lowrey
* License : MIT
  Description : Non-blocking concurrency framework for PHP
 Amp is a non-blocking concurrency framework for PHP. It provides an event loop,
 promises and streams as a base for asynchronous programming.
 .
 Promises in combination with generators are used to build coroutines, which
 allow writing asynchronous code just like synchronous code, without any
 callbacks.

Katharina

Bug#1011264: ITP: freesasa -- Solvent Accessible Surface Area of biomolecules

2022-05-19 Thread Andrius Merkys
Package: wnpp
Owner: Andrius Merkys
Severity: wishlist

* Package name: freesasa
  Version : 2.1.0
  Upstream Author : Simon Mitternacht
* URL : https://github.com/mittinatten/freesasa
* License : Expat
  Programming Lang: C
  Description : Solvent Accessible Surface Area of biomolecules

FreeSASA is a C library and C++ command line tool for calculating
Solvent Accessible Surface Area (SASA) of biomolecules. It is designed
to be simple to use with defaults, but allows customization of all
parameters of the calculation and provides a few different tools to
analyze the results.

Currently build fails due to gemmi being incompatible with tao-pegtl in
unstable (#1009415), but succeeds with older tao-pegtl (v2).

Remark: This package is to be maintained with Debichem Team at
   https://salsa.debian.org/debichem-team/freesasa
