I noticed yours doesn't provide augeas.rb (this 3 line file that let's you do "require 'augeas'" from ruby). Attached is a patch that corrects this. Perhaps Bart could have a look at your packaging work and see about integrating anything. I'm not sure if either of you are interested in co-maintainership, or a team-maintainance strategy, but they might be worth considering. Wouldn't it be better to have this package maintained by the Debian Ruby Extras team ? Yeah, Micah made the same suggestion. Let's do that.
