Bug#356733: RFP: libpam-abl -- blacklist hosts and users after failed authentication attempts
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist * Package name: libpam-abl Version : 0.2.3 Upstream Author : Andy Armstrong <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> * URL : http://www.hexten.net/pam_abl/ * License : GPL Description : blacklist hosts and users after failed authentication attempts A PAM module that provides auto blacklisting of hosts and users responsible for repeated failed authentication attempts. Generally configured so that blacklisted users still see normal login prompts but are guaranteed to fail to authenticate. This was posted in the thread[1] about ssh brute force mitigation and seems really useful to have. Bug#306119: ITP: gwaterfall -- View all characters of font in all sizes

This program facilitates comparison of various font and font rendering parameters. It displays the same line of text in sizes from 5 to 36px simultaneously and allows changing of font size range and increment, hinting, autohinting, anti-aliasing, subpixel smoothing, and aspect, immediately showing the changes on the screen. Bug#280675: ITP: l2tpns

Perhaps contrasting this package agains l2tpd is worth a paragraph too. >Also supports ISP features like speed throttling, walled garden, usage >accounting, and more. The same here: what is a "walled garden" in the context of L2TP? Thank you for your time and work! Hi Ricardo! I've seen your ITP for the eric IDE and wanted to ask, how your status on this package is. Thanks for your time and work! I reuploaded the packages as -1 because the changes were all pretty trivial. One thing I wasn't able to figure out: the .changes file lists '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' as maintainer. Where can i set _this_?? Now I know that I'm not > doing it just for me Several clients (including myself) want virusscanning at the mail gateway, but I was always reluctant to implement complex setups with dual queues or double sends which let setup maintnance costs explode. After browsing a bit through the URL there, exiscan v4 looks even more intresting, because with v2 one has to make sure that no exim -q is run _ever_ (which isn't as easy as it sounds). OAre there any plans to package exim v4 in the near future? Regards, David -- Afrika kommt nach Europa. Das ist der Kontineltaldrift.
