Not currently. There is some discussion in that abug about the things

Unfortunately I never found the time. Feel free to take this over.

This module implements ISO 8601 date, time and duration parsing.

Since this is a Python package shouldn't it have 'python' or
at least 'py' in the package name?

Upstream Author : Neil Mitchell ndmitch...@gmail.com
* URL : http://hackage.haskell.org/package/cmdargs

Description : Haskell command line parsing library

This library provides an easy way to define command line parsers. Most users
will want to use the System.Console.CmdArgs.Implicit module, whose
 documentation contains an example.
  - System.Console.CmdArgs.Explicit provides a way to write command line parsers
for both single mode programs (most programs) and multiple mode programs
(e.g. darcs or cabal). Parsers are defined by constructing a data structure.
  - System.Console.CmdArgs.Implicit provides a way to concisely define command
line parsers, up to three times shorter than getopt. These parsers are
translated into the Explicit data type.
  - System.Console.CmdArgs.GetOpt provides a wrapper allowing compatiblity with
existing getopt parsers, mapping to the Explicit data type.

Yes. I'm actually waiting for upstream (a good friend of mine) to

 Is there
any progress with your plan? The sweep package is currently used in
Debian Edu, but the lack of ALSA/PulseAudio support make it less
useful, so a solution for that would be nice before Squeeze is frozen.

I have SVN commit access to upstream and I have commited support for
runtime switching between ALSA, PulseAudio and OSS.

I supose I could packge it for Debian out of SVN, but I would prefer
a proper upstream release.

A haskell library for performing computations on the type-level. Type-level
functions are implemented using functional dependencies of multi parameter
type classes. To date, Booleans and Numerals (Naturals and Positives) are
supported. With regard to Numerals, there is support for common arithmetic
operations (addition, substraction, multiplication, division, exponientation,
logarithm, maximum, comparison, GCD) over natural numbers (using a decimal
representation to make compile-time errors friendlier). Although making use
of type-level computations might seem devious and obfuscated at first sight,
it is indeed useful in practice to implement lightweight dependent types
such as number-parameterized types (e.g. an array type parameterized by the
array's size or a modular group type Zn parameterized by the modulus).

The speed of resulting system is also far from acceptable. On a 4 year

configure was well over 5 minutes (I didn't time it) and the compile has

An alternative to GHC's Text.Regex module with some enhancements.
 .
GHC's Text.Regex module marshalls the data back and forth to c-arrays to
call libc and this is far too slow (and strict).
 .
This module parses regular expression Strings using a Parsec parser and
creates an internal data structure (Text.Regex.Lazy.Pattern). This is then
transformed a DFA table for matching against the input String or
FastPackedString. The input string is consumed lazily, so it may be an
 arbitrarily long or infinite source.
 .
This package contains the libraries compiled for GHC 6.

This package already seems to be in Debian at version 0.3.4? Source
 package haskell-utf8-string.

You are correct. My mistake.

I'll close this bug.

Cheers,

Bug#482162: ITP: haskell-safe

2009-06-14 Thread Erik de Castro Lopo
Magnus,

I notice that you have an ITP up for this Haskell library.

I'm in the process of packaging up hoogle for which haskell-safe
is a dependancy.

Do you still intent to package this? If not would you mind if I
take it over?

Cheers,
Erik

Hi all,

I offer to package this. In fact I've already got a preliminary
package working.

I've alrady emailed the upstream author Sigbjorn Finne and he
has given his blessing.

Expect some action in the next week or so.

Cheers,
Erik

more fun.) The full chemical name is Berkeley Standard Distribution.
