Hello,

We, the Debian BOINC Maintainers, put up boinc and boinc-app-seti for
adoption. None of us currently have enough time to properly maintain
these packages, e.g. fixing non-RC bugs, updating them to new upstream
versions, and so on. The current BOINC version in Debian is one major
version behind the current upstream release and the packages accumulate
bug reports that are left unanswered. So if you are a BOINC user or
interested in BOINC, please consider adopting it.

If you want to inspect the source packages, they are maintained in Git:
http://git.debian.org/?p=pkg-boinc/boinc.git

Bug#461806: Adopting it

 http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/c/curlftpfs/curlftpfs_0.9.2-1.dsc

I've some comments/questions:

 * The packages uses an obsolete Standards-Version. Please adapt it to the
current Debian Policy (3.8.0). You can use this list to review what needs
   to be changed: /usr/share/doc/debian-policy/upgrading-checklist.txt.gz

 * The Build-Depends lines in debian/control and debian/control.in differ, see
libcurl*-dev. This only adds confusion. Those build-dependencies should be
the same or if you don't need the control.in file you can get rid of it.

 * There are still the Vcs-{Svn,Browser} fields that point to
   svn://svn.debian.org/collab-maint/deb-maint/curlftpfs/trunk/ and
   http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/collab-maint/deb-maint/curlftpfs/trunk/, but you
obviously don't use this repository. If you don't use this, remove them.
I'd however prefer if you could use this repository so that the history of
this package does not get lost.

 * curlftpfs now requires curl (= 7.17.0), see configure.ac. Have you checked
if the build-dependency in debian/control needs to be updated?

Cheers,
Frank

I've now added a repackage-upstream-tarball target to debian/rules which takes
an original upstream tarball, unpacks it, removes the OpenTarock card deck
and packs it as schafkopf_$VERSION+dfsg.orig.tar.gz. So the remaining issue
from my POV before schafkopf is ready for an upload is the sparse long
description. It needs to be extended but apart from that I think the package
looks good.
I guess that you still dislike CDBS and want to rewrite debian/rules with
debhelper only. I really don't mind if you do. But what I really ask you to
do soon is to set yourself as Maintainer and move me to Uploaders. And please
don't forget to document all changes you'll make in the changelog.

I did not have time to work on it lately. IIrc there were some issues that
 need to be resolved first.

One of them is the license of the OpenTarock card deck, which is licensed
under the CC by-nc-sa 2.0 license, which is non-free. I asked upstream to
change it to a free license a while ago, but nothing happened yet:
https://lists.berlios.de/pipermail/schafkopf-devel/2006-January/001250.html
We should nudge them about this issue again...

I will have a look at it during the next days
again. If you have some spare time for it, feel free to take over the ITP.
I would also be glad to team maintain it.

I never came around filing an ITP as I started to package schafkopf myself and

team maintain it, maybe using pkg-games' Subversion repository?

Description : A BOINC monitoring tool for KDE

KBoincSpy is a KDE monitoring utility for the BOINC distributed client.
Designed to be the successor of KSetiSpy, it offers support for a
virtually unlimited number of BOINC projects through a plugin-based
 architecture.

The source package of version 0.8.0 is now available at:

I'm not a DD, so sponsors are welcome!
