  Description : Client for reporting network abuse to MyNetWatchman.com

MyNetWatchman is a service that collects information about network
abuse. Incidents are sorted by source IP, and when enough attacks on
several targets from one IP have been reported, the ISP responsible for
that IP is notified via e-mail.

This is the client that collects data on your firewall and forwards it
to mynetwatchman.com.

Bug#159392: ITP: tetrinetx -- GNU Tetrinet server

2002-09-02 Thread Helios de Creisquer
Package: wnpp
Version: N/A; reported 2002-09-03
Severity: wishlist

* Package name: tetrinetx
  Version : 1.13.16
  Upstream Author : Brendan Grieve [EMAIL PROTECTED]
* URL : http://tetrinetx.sf.net/
* License : GPL
  Description : GNU Tetrinet server

 The GNU tetrinet server, very complete configuration options,
 includes qirc IRC server.

I saw a mail about it in debian-devel long time ago (2000) saying that
no packaging should be done unless the license change. This is it,
license is now GPL. But I cant find any ITP in the BTS about this
package, just a recent RFP, so I close it in the meantime.

You can check preliminary package at http://balios.org/tetrinetx/

Cheers,

Bug#155284: ITP: mydns -- free DNS server implemented and designed to use MySQL for data storage.

2002-08-02 Thread Helios de Creisquer
Package: wnpp
Version: N/A; reported 2002-08-03
Severity: wishlist

* Package name: mydns
  Version : 0.8.2
  Upstream Author : Don Moore [EMAIL PROTECTED]
* URL : http://mydns.bboy.net/
* License : GPL
  Description : DNS server using MySQL for data storage.

Free DNS server for UNIX implemented from scratch and designed to
utilize the MySQL database for data storage.
Its primary objectives are stability, security, interoperability, and
speed, though not necessarily in that order.
MyDNS does not include recursive name service, nor a resolver library.
It is primarily designed for organizations with many zones and/or
resource records who desire the ability to perform real-time dynamic
updates on their DNS data via MySQL.
MyDNS starts and is ready to answer questions immediately, no matter
how much DNS data you have in the database. It is extremely fast and
memory-efficient. It includes complete documentation, including a
manual and a FAQ. It supports a few frills, including round robin DNS,
dynamic load balancing, and outgoing AXFR for non-MyDNS nameservers.
