Joerg, was your intention here to continue maintaining pam-pgsql until > someone else comes along to do so, or were you trying to orphan the package > immediately so that you're no longer responsible for it? It looks like you are right. I indeed wanted to orphan the package and made a stupid mistake during the upload of the orphaned package. > If it is indeed the maintainer's intention to orphan this package, I > would recommend removing it from sarge on account of the progressive > security issues. That'd be alright, since nobody (including me) seems to be interested in this package, anyway. Bug#303194: RFA: fam -- File Alteration Monitor
Package: wnpp Severity: normal I request an adopter for the fam package. The package description is: FAM monitors files and directories, notifying interested applications of changes. . This package provides a server that can monitor a given list of files and notify applications through a socket. If the kernel supports dnotify (kernels >= 2.4.x) FAM is notified directly by the kernel. Otherwise it has to poll the files' status. FAM can also provide a RPC service for monitoring remote files (such as on a mounted NFS filesystem). -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Bug#303197: RFA: ulogd -- The Netfilter Userspace Logging Daemon
Package: wnpp Severity: normal I request an adopter for the ulogd package. The package description is: ulogd is a daemon that listens for Netlink packets generated by iptables's ULOG target. Basically, it's a replacement for syslog for logging packets, and does a much better job - it logs to files, mySQL, PostgreSQL and soon will be able to log remotely. . mySQL and PostgreSQL support is in separate packages, called ulogd-mysql and ulogd-pgsql respectively. . ulogd homepage: http://www.gnumonks.org/projects/ulogd -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#257249: packaging Redhat-Cluster
Hi, I have seen this ITP. Since I am in the works of deploying a GFS-cluster at work I would gladly help packaging patches and userspace. As GFS is only one part of the Redhat Cluster and depends on most of the rest of this software I think that should (must) all be packaged. Please tell me if I can help, I have a VMware ESX installation handy for testing which makes it easy to share storage devices without having to have a SAN or something. Rhino provides a common, consistent, task-based, internationalized graphical user interface (GUI), with built-in command-line interfaces (CLIs) that system administrators can use to write scripts. Rhino applications consist of two parts: * Client-side GUI in Java. The GUI runs on any platform that has a Java virtual machine, and it doesn't run as root or do setuid root. It can enable the user to perform a single task; it can provide an organized collection of tasks (with a built-in search mechanism); and it can include GUIs for monitoring the system. * Server-side daemon and command-line interfaces. These can be written in C++ so Java doesn't have to run on the server being administered. I need it especially for SGI's Linux Failsafe. -- System Information Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux joergland 2.4.16-pre1-kpkg.1 #1 Son Nov 25 21:34:49 CET 2001 i686 Locale: LANG=english, LC_CTYPE=de_DE
