Package: wnpp Severity: normal I no longer develop or am interested in Bongo. Therefore, I think a new maintainer would be appropriate. I've neglected the package somewhat recently. It's only in experimental and its only bug, #442349, is fixed in the newest upstream release. I should note that this package is rather huge and I think would require good contact with upstream who are very nice and helpful indeed. I'd be happy to continuing sponsoring. Not only can the Hildon desktop be used as a desktop environment on a normal computer -- for example on embedded systems, or even cut-down systems such as kiosks. Although the official maemo way of developing for the Internet Tablets is downloading Scratchbox and whatever else, a simple apt-get install hildon-desktop and you're ready is helpful. Greetings! I have packaged the Bongo[0] mail and calendaring software (previously known as Hula), but of course the name "bongo" is taken in Debian. If nobody wants to take ownership of the current bongo package, might you consider renaming it? I have no idea how many people are using it apart from using the popcon data[1] which doesn't show vast numbers. I certainly do not think that this should determine who gets the "bongo" package name, but I'm certain more people would be using the Bongo mail and calendaring software..
