Package is ready and working, but since this was a Debian native package and
I'm not the original author, I'm creating a SourceForge project for mailcheck.
And since the name mailcheck at SF was previously reserved but never utilized,
I've applied to take the name over. Still waiting on this final approval from
SF and then will upload a final package.

I am looking for a sponsor for the new version 0.05b3-7 of my
package bottlerocket. It was recently orphaned and since I use
the package in my home to control lights, I filed an ITA in order to
keep it in Debian.

  Package name: bottlerocket

Upstream Author : Tymm Twillman [EMAIL PROTECTED] and

It builds these binary packages:
bottlerocket - Utility to control X10 Firecracker devices
rocket_launcher - GUI to control bottlerocket

The package is lintian/linda clean and builds fine in pbuilder.

The upload would fix these bugs: 205769, 206736, 265850, 357503

The package can be found on mentors.debian.net:

contrib non-free
- dget

Thank you in advance for reviewing and hopefully uploading this
package.

Bug#379679: RFS: python-htmlgen -- library for the generation of HTML

2006-07-26 Thread Kevin Coyner

I am looking for a sponsor for the package 'python-htmlgen'. This is a great
little Python module that generates html pages on the fly.

The package was recently orphaned and I quite like it, so I decided to pick it
up and maintain it in order to keep it in Debian.

The package is lintian/linda clean and builds cleanly in pbuilder.

Thank you in advance for reviewing this package and possibly sponsoring it.

Package name: python-htmlgen
Version:2.2.2-11
Upstream author:Robin Friedrich [EMAIL PROTECTED]
URL: http://www.python.net/crew/friedrich/HTMLgen/html/main.html

Description: HTMLgen is a class library for the generation of HTML documents
with Python scripts. It's used when you want to create HTML pages containing
information which changes from time to time. For example you might want to have
a page which provides an overall system summary of data collected nightly. Or
maybe you have a catalog of data and images that you would like formed into a
spiffy set of web pages for the world to browse. Python is a great scripting
language for these tasks and with HTMLgen it's very straightforward to
construct objects which are rendered into consistently structured web pages. Of
course, CGI scripts written in Python can take advantage of these classes as
well.

nmzmail is a tool, primarily to be used with mutt, for indexing and searching
maildir folders. Based on the result of a namazu query, nmzmail generates a
maildir folder containing symbolic links to the mail(s) matching the query. A
simple mutt macro makes it easy to use nmzmail from within mutt. nmzmail is
similar to mairix, but perhaps easier to use since it uses the query syntax of
namazu.

 Features:
   - fast mail searching even with large quantities of mail
   - incremental index building
   - integrates very nicely into mutt
   - rich, but simple, query language including regex
   - query history

Bug#190811: status of RFA on bbmail

2004-11-19 Thread Kevin Coyner

Hi Matt

I see that there is still an outstanding RFA on bbmail (#190811). Like
a couple of the people before me, I too use bbmail and would be
interested in taking over maintenance of it, although I don't want to
step on toes.

I know it really hasn't been an active project, but someone has to
maintain it and it might as well be someone who uses it. I'm not a DD
although someday would like to be. I've packaged a couple things
already and am working with one other DD on getting it uploaded.

Incidently, the current bug filed against bbmail (Bug #241714) ... I
have a similar setup to the person who filed it, and I do not experience
the same problem.

Thanks,
Kevin

Bug#257870: ITP: treeline -- GUI program for storing freeform data in a tree

2004-11-07 Thread Kevin Coyner
Package: wnpp

Followup-For: Bug #257870

* Package name: treeline
  Version : 0.8.1
Upstream Author : doug101 AT bellz DOT org
* URL : http://www.bellz.org
* License : GPL
Description : GUI program for storing freeform data in a tree

Some would call TreeLine an Outliner, others would call it a
PIM. Basically, it just stores almost any kind of information. A tree
structure makes it easy to keep things organized. And each node in the
tree can contain several fields, forming a mini-database. The output
format for each node can be defined, and the output can be shown on
the screen, printed, or exported to html.

I've contacted Stephen Birch, the person who originally filed this ITP
bug report, and have received his permission to go ahead and create a
deb package for treeline. It is therefore my intent to package up
treeline.
