Bug#622953: ITP : proftpd-mod-case -- ProFTPD module mod_case
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Mahyuddin Susanto * Package name: proftpd-mod-case Version : 0.4 Upstream Author : TJ Saunders * URL : http://www.castaglia.org/proftpd/modules/mod_case.html * License : GPL-2+ Programming Lang: C Description : ProFTPD module mod_case The mod_case module is designed to help ProFTPD be case-insensitive, for those sites that may need it (e.g. those that are migrating from a Windows environment or have mounted Windows filesystems). . mod_case works by performing two checks on the filename used in FTP commands. First, mod_case will scan the directory to see if there is already a file whose name exactly matches the given filename. If not, mod_case will scan the directory again, this time looking for case-insensitive matches. -- [ Mahyuddin Susanto ] - 4096R/90B36C5B "Knowledge cannot replace friendship. Bug#617454: ITP: proftpd-mod-autohost -- allowing server configurations to be configured in individual files
Package: wnpp Version: 0.4 Severity: wishlist Owner: Mahyuddin Susanto X-Debbugs-CC: pkg-proftpd-maintain...@lists.alioth.debian.org,debian-de...@lists.debian.org Package name: proftpd-mod-autohost Version: 0.1.5 Upstream Author: TJ Saunders URL: http://www.castaglia.org/proftpd/modules/mod_autohost.html License: GPL-2 The mod_autohost module allows for server configurations to be configured in individual files, and for those configuration to be used in an "on demand" fashion. Rather than loading the configurations into memory when the daemon starts up, the daemon will check the IP address and port being contacted by a connecting client, check in the filesystem for a mod_autohost configuration file for that address/port, dynamically parse the configuration, and insert the configuration into the session's process space. Thus changes to the configuration are seen whenever a client connects, without requiring a daemon restart. The memory footprint is reduced because proftpd, via mod_autohost, only reads and uses the needed configuration. -- [ Mahyuddin Susanto ] http://tripledin.wordpress.com/ signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature

Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Mahyuddin Susanto * Package name: proftpd-mod-clamav Version : 0.10. Upstream Author : Joseph Benden * URL : http://www.thrallingpenguin.com/resources/mod_clamav.htm * License : GPL-2+ Programming Lang: C Description : ProFTPD module mod_clamav Mod_Clamav can be configured to either use Clamd via local unix sockets or TCP sockets. This allows one to combine ProFTPd with Mod_Clamav and Clamd on a system with local unix sockets for minimal administrative overhead and decent security. however, also allows for a large scale deployment with many ProFTPd servers utilizing a separate Clamd host over TCP for scalability and lower administrative overhead. . Additional features include: * HiddenStore support * Chroot environments * Reporting a detected virus to the remote FTP client and ProFTPd logging * Clamd TCP socket support * Clamd Unix socket support * Automatic TCP/Unix socket reconnect support * Minimum and Maximum file sizes to scan * Additional debug logging when ProFTPd is configured for debugging level 4 or higher. * Simple configuration * Graceful failures - If any error condition happens (including a connection failure to Clamd,) Mod_Clamav always logs the problem and performs no scanning. -- [ Mahyuddin Susanto ] - signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature
