Please, read the paragraphs written by Stefano, he made some interesting points. Also what I meant with that line was that when I need to copy a file to (let's say) my cellphone in a simple (and/or stupid) way, this can easily be achieved with that Python module. But at the same time, waiting for you to answer the question we all have: What does it do? Proptip: Perhaps the usage of the following words might help you to convince us all. * scalable (This one is a sure-shot) * non-blocking * über-fast * «web2.0 ready» (I guess this one is kinda demodé these days anyway) * «Sarcasm inside» (Hope Intel doesn't get mad over this) Saludos, Mauro -- JID: lavaram...@nube.usla.org.ar | http://lizaur.github.com/ 2B82 A38D 1BA5 847A A74D 6C34 6AB7 9ED6 C8FD F9C1 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-wnpp-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#593967: Subject: ITP: python-oauth2 -- An interface to create OAuth clients and servers.
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Mauro Lizaur * Package name: python-oauth2 Version : 1.2.1 Upstream Author : SimpleGeo Inc. * URL : http://github.com/simplegeo/python-oauth2 * License : MIT License Programming Lang: Python Description : A fully tested, abstract interface to creating OAuth clients and servers. This code was originally forked from Leah Culver and Andy Smith's oauth.py code. Some of the tests come from a fork by Vic Fryzel, while a revamped Request class and more tests were merged in from Mark Paschal's fork. A number of notable differences exist between this code and its forefathers: * 100% unit test coverage. * The DataStore object has been completely ripped out. While creating unit tests for the library I found several substantial bugs with the implementation and confirmed with Andy Smith that it was never fully baked. * Classes are no longer prefixed with OAuth. * The Request class now extends from dict. * The library is likely no longer compatible with Python 2.3. * The Client class works and extends from httplib2. It's a thin wrapper that handles automatically signing any normal HTTP request you might wish to make. Bug#471322: (no subject)
noowner 471322 thanks I'm sorry to announce that I'll have to drop my intention to maintain this package: I've been running into too many difficulties (and little time to dedicate) to maintain this simple piece of software (most of them, with the new release: 0.9.2), so probably this might be an indication that I won't be a good maintainer for gmrun after all and I prefer to leave the task open to somebody else. On the other hand, I can still provide the work I've done so far fixing most of the open bugs (for release 0.9.1). Yeah, sure. I think that would be OK to add this theme to the metacity-themes package. Just remember to report a bug against it with this request as "whishlist". > > Note that the Nodoka gtk2 engine[2] is already in Debian. > I think that we both agree that if I add the Nodoka theme to metacity-themes, this package wouldn't be necessary anymore, so how do you think you could provide a solution to this /merging/? I mean, requesting its removal isn't the cleanest solution for me. Perhaps making a dummy package of this to have metacity-packages as its dependency? Though at the same time, if you just want to download Nodoka theme and nothing else, you might not like having to download the extra themes... but i don't really know :-) > Cheers, > Julien > Regards, Mauro -- JID: lavaram...@jabber.org | http://lusers.com.ar/ 2B82 A38D 1BA5 847A A74D 6C34 6AB7 9ED6 C8FD F9C1 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-wnpp-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
