Hi, Matteo,

I'm happy to see someone can take over this package :)

I didn't upladed it because upstream has done a full rewrite for the
5.0.0 version. So my bug fixes was useless :/

Bug#782432: O: cronolog -- Logfile rotator for web servers

2016-05-18 Thread Maxime Chatelle
Hi,

Sadly, Andrew Ford, the original author, died last year (his wife told
me in a email when I wanted to contact Andrew). So upstream do not
exist anymore but a git repository exists on github at
https://github.com/fordmason/cronolog

The codebase is a bit old, from my point of view, this software need
also a new upstream maintainer (to modernize the code, add a test
suite, and maybe more).

With the hope I helped.

Bug#768400: ITP: libjs-iframe-resizer -- Javascript library that enables the automatic resizing of iframes

2014-11-06 Thread Maxime Chatelle
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Maxime Chatelle x...@rxsoft.eu

* Package name: libjs-iframe-resizer
  Version : 2.6.2
  Upstream Author : David J. Bradshaw d...@bradshaw.net
* URL : https://github.com/davidjbradshaw/iframe-resizer
* License : MIT
  Programming Lang: Javascript

  Description : Javascript library that enables the automatic resizing of
iframes

This library enables the automatic resizing of the height and width of
both same and cross domain iFrames to fit the contained content. It uses
postMessage to pass messages between the host page and the iFrame and
when available MutationObserver to detect DOM changes, with a fallback
to setInterval for IE8-10.
.
The code also detects browser events that can cause the content to
resize; provides functions to allow the iFrame to set a custom size and
close itself. Plus it supports having multiple iFrames on the host-page
and additionally provides for the sending of simple messages from the
iFrame to the parent page.
.
For security, by default the host-page automatically checks that the
origin of incoming messages are from the domain of the page listed in
the src property of the iFrame.

  Description : Javascript library that turns a normal HTML list into a
tree view

Long nested lists on web pages can be difficult to understand,
especially if the visitor must scroll to see the entire list. The tree
view, a user interface widget that displays hierarchical data as nested
lists, solves this problem by making lists collapsible and expandable; a
list can be opened by or closed by clicking on its parent list
item. CollapsibleLists is a JavaScript object that turns a normal HTML
list into a tree view. Click on the items with plus and minus icons to
expand and collapse their lists.

 I request assistance with maintaining the balsa package. Nobody in the
 GNOME team is actually using it anymore, and only RC issues are fixed at
 the moment. It is vastly inferior to evolution, but it is also a decent
 lightweight alternative for those in need for it.

 The package description is:
  Balsa is a highly configurable and robust mail client for the GNOME desktop.
  It supports both POP3 and IMAP servers as well as the mbox, maildir and mh
  local mailbox formats. Balsa also supports SMTP and/or the use of a local MTA
  such as Sendmail.
  .
  Some of Balsa's other features include:
* Allowing nested mailboxes
* Printing
* Spell Checking
* Multi-threaded mail retrieval
* MIME support (view images inline, save parts)
* GPE Palmtop, LDAP, LDIF and vCard address book support
* Multiple character sets for composing and reading messages
* File attachments on outgoing messages
* GPG/OpenPGP mail signing and encryption
  .
  Support for Kerberos and SSL has been enabled in this package.
