2005-02-18 Thread Miah Gregory
Hi,

If people use this package then I'm willing to take it on - I run qmail
myself.

Bug#295331: fetchmail

2005-02-18 Thread Miah Gregory
Hi,

FWIW, I also use fetchmail (in system-wide mode), and I'm a DD so could
help with uploads or whatever, if thats of any use.

Bug#165575: ddd

2002-10-24 Thread Miah Gregory
Hi,

Since there are others who are probably more fluent in the specifics of
ddd's internals, I'd like to register my interest to take over ddd, should
noone else come forward, and if you feel the need to orphan.

It's a useful debugging environment, and losing it would be a shame.

Thanks.

Apologies, that should have been <http://www.darksilence.net/~mace/gvd/>.

Bug#154103: Updated package

2002-10-01 Thread Miah Gregory
Hi all,

I've modified the new package to take into account the suggestions
Jérôme made, and all the appropriate files are available at
<http://www.darksilence.net/gvd/> for review.

Edward Betts checked over the previous version of this package, and will
hopefully be uploading it soon, but if anyone here wants to give it a
final once over, it would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I've prepared a package which fixes all four outstanding bugs (two appear
to be duplicates of the other two).

As I'm not yet a DM, I'm going to need to get my sponsor to check the
package over.

A copy of the new package is available here:
<http://www.darksilence.net/~mace/gvd_1.2.5-2_i386.deb>

Let me know if there's any problems with this.

Thanks.

I've not played with Ada95 before, however I'm quite happy to learn it in
order to maintain the package. Taking a brief look at some of the extracts
on the ada home page, it looks pretty simple to pick up, and indeed looks
quite interesting too.

Bug#154103: adopting gvd

2002-07-30 Thread Miah Gregory
Hi,

I'd like to register my interest in adopting gvd.

As I'm not yet a debian developer, I'm assuming that I need to go through
that process before I can take the package on? I have a prospective
sponsor.

Thanks.
