Bug#578454: ITP: php-ogr -- OGR module for php5

2010-04-20 Thread Neskie Manuel
You can find the package here:

http://mentors.debian.net/cgi-bin/sponsor-pkglist?action=details;package=php-ogr

I still need to do some work on the Apache configuration files, and
then make it lintian clean, but it's mostly there.
I'd also like to double check the dependencies.

Bug#473149: ITP: ttf-lg-aboriginal -- Contains North American aboriginal langauge fonts

2008-04-06 Thread Neskie Manuel
Here is the ttf-lg-aboriginal package on mentors:

http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/t/ttf-lg-aboriginal/

Most of the problems that have been discussed on the mailing list are fixed.

 * source code for font still waiting from upstream, I don't know if
he uses fontforge
 * two separate packages. looked at another package to see how to do it. ls
 * version meta-data still waiting from upstream
 * watch file - i'm thinking the way upstream posts releases will make
it hard to make a watch file, but that's my inexperience talking

Cherokee is different from syllabics and the romanized languages.
Cherokee is a script that was developed pretty much independently.
The story behind it's development is quite intersting.

That sounds alright. I did change it in the upload. Maybe it should
say using the "roman alphabet". Since the language itself isn't
romanized it is just the script we choose to use is the roman
alphabet.

> Side comment: I'd love to know how to *pronounce* Secwepemctsin..:-)

I'll record something for you this weekend.
