Bug#996759: ITA: python-yubico for pkg-auth Team

2024-05-22 Thread Patrick Winnertz

Control: retitle -1 ITA: python-yubico -- Tools for Yubico YubiKeys
Control: owner -1 !

I started to update all yubico related packages within the pgk-auth team
recently. The last upstream release is already 4 years ago, but till now
there is no official obsolesence of that python library - thus I'll give
the package a little bit love.

With best regards
Patrick

Bug#1065086: Delay in packaging

2024-04-06 Thread Patrick Winnertz
owner 1065086  !

thanks

I've prepared a Debian package at my salsa repro, however there are currently
license issues with the images being used.

For some of the icons images from icons8 are used. These are free (as in free
beer) however not open source. You are needed to include a thanks stanca + link
in your program.

I've filled a bug upstream in the hope that this gets resolved.

Greetings
Patrick

Bug#747824: Package dependencies

Hey Jonathan,

could you try to publish somewhere the complete list of packages, which
are currently missing to build atom (or move the atom packaging efforts
into a public git), so that maybe others could help to get this done
quickly.

Maybe it would be wise to build a team to maintain atom and it's
dependencies within debian as it looks like a major effort.

Cerebro is a collection of cluster monitoring tools and libraries.
This project has been named after a part of the central nervous
system to pay homage to the Ganglia project.
Several of the goals for cerebro were to develop a monitoring tool that,
 compared to ganglia:
  - Interrupts the CPU less frequently.
  - Provides the user with a set of libraries, command-line tools,
and a dynamic module interface that allow users to monitor new
metrics without any re-compilation or configuration changes.
  - Provides a dynamic module interface that allows individual clusters
to monitor different metrics based solely on the modules installed.
  - Provides a dynamic module interface that allows the libraries and
tools to have knowledge of every node in the cluster.
  - Provides a dynamic module interface that allows the libraries and
tools to automatically configure themselves across a cluster.
  - Removes XML overhead.

Thanks, but I could not find it in their archive at
 http://apt.linex.org/debian/

Wait one minute I will give you the link.
I'm here in Extremadura and one of the guys who develop it showed it to me.

http://villarino.unex.es/linex2006/linux-2.6/2.6.16-2/

it could be that is is not already in their apt-archive.

Greetings
Patrick
