Bug#500545: structorizer

2009-01-03 Thread Philipp Hübner
structorizer package available at:
http://www.credativ.com/~phu/structorizer/

ATM it's not going into Debian because the freehep-libs are missing in
the archive, see http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=510596

The package already works for me.

You could add a "Closes: " to get this done automatically.
For sponsoring you should send a request to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] and not wait until somebody sees this
bugreport.

I've tested the package and it buils truecrypt 4.3a which needs
kernel-modules.

The newest version of truecrypt is 6.0a which uses fuse and runs
completely in userspace.

What about this? I'd imagine that users would prefer the up2date version.

Kind regards,

Bug#453732: Work in progress?

2008-09-13 Thread Philipp Hübner

Hello,

what is the status of this package?

Are you still working on this?
Or is it labeled wrong and should be an RFP instead of an ITP?

Anyway,
if nobody is really working on this I would like to it,
especially since I onw and UMTS stick where I need this tool.

Hey,

I've taken a look at the sourceforge site, which shows that the last
release is version 0.5 from February 24, 2004.

Looks like the project is dead and packaging it wouldn't make that much
sense, although I haven't tested the program myself.

Bug#497177: RFP: sagemath

2008-08-30 Thread Philipp Hübner
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA1

Well,

when filing the RFP I looked if sagemath is already in Debian or if
there is already an RFP open.
I forgot to check if work is already in progress.
I just noticed that sagemath is already in the NEW queue which will
close the corresponding ITP, so I close my RFP.

Thanks!

It is, although I also had problems finding it at the first time,
they've hidden it quite well. I wouldn't write an RFP if there was no
source code available ;)

On http://autoscan-network.com/ go to the Download section and click on
the small "More..." link under the Windows button.
Then you'll see a site offering the source code and some outdated Ubuntu
packages.

Have fun packaging it!

Bug#467337: sysutils/bogomips missing

2008-06-05 Thread Philipp Hübner
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA1

To me the bogomips calculator seems to be outdated (see [1]).

Furthermore the statement in [2] speaks against using this program.

Nevertheless I downloaded, compiled and installed it on Debian Lenny:

+++
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ bogoport
Calibrating delay loop... 0.00 BogoMIPS
+++

As you can see, it didn't work on my laptop (P4 3,06 GHz HT).

I suggest tagging this bug as 'wontfix' and closing it.

Kind regards,
Philipp Huebner

Hello,

Bug#482576: (re-)packaging ntfs-config for Debian

2008-06-05 Thread Philipp Hübner
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA1

Hello,
I'm thinking of (re-)packaging ntfs-config for Debian.
See [1].

So far I haven't really tested the software myself, but I will do it soon.

The link to the modified pmount-package on [2] doesn't work, so I
probably won't be able to use external devices with ntfs-config, right?
Furthermore I'd like to know what kind of change of pmount it is/was and
if it could be added to pmount via upstream.
If not, it will be a problem for packaging ntfs-config for Debian.

Anyway, if I do the packaging, I'd appreciate to get the
debian-directory you used for building the ubuntu-packages, because this
way I wouldn't have to start from scratch.

If neccessary I could also help with the German translation of ntfs-config.

Kind regards,
Philipp Huebner

Bug#464394: bashc + Debian

Hello,
I would do the packaging, but until now I couldn't get the file panels
of bashc running, neither under lenny nor under sid.

I'm in frequent contact with Serge.

If somebody gets bashc fully working under Debian sid/lenny,
please let me know.

Until I got the file panels working I won't package it,
since without them bashc is not much more than a native bash.
