Hi Rogério, I'm becoming increasingly reliant upon this package and I'd like to help maintain it. Currently I'm not maintaining or comaintaining any packages in Debian, but I figure this is a good time to start. I have extensive experience with HDFS and would be happy to help port additional patches.
