Bug#1017851: ITP: bandcamp-dl -- simple python script to download bandcamp albums

2022-08-21 Thread scupake
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist

* Package name: bandcamp-dl
  Version : 0.0.13
  Upstream Author : Iheanyi Ekechukwu
* URL : https://github.com/iheanyi/bandcamp-dl
* License : The Unlicense
  Programming Lang: Python
  Description : script to download Bandcamp albums

bandcamp-dl is a small command-line app to download audio from BandCamp.com.

I'd be nice to have this in Debian even though tools like youtube-dl
and yt-dlp can download from bandcamp because it is much simpler to use.

I also need a sponsor to check and upload the package once I am done.

Sounds like a good idea, I'll wait until it's through new before changing the
name though.

I'll try doing that asap.

Seems like that was it, I have uploaded the files.
Also the copyright file is a big mess and I still haven't
setup the CI.

I'll try to setup the CI first then work on the copyright file.

Also, are you going to make a repository in the debian group or should I
just make a repository?

Bug#981140: ITP: xbanish: banish the mouse cursor when typing, show it again when the mouse moves

2021-01-26 Thread Scupake
Package: wnpp

* Package name: xbanish
  Version : 4.5
  Upstream Author : joshua stein
* URL : https://github.com/jcs/xbanish
* License : BSD-3-Clause
  Programming Lang: C
  Description : banish the mouse cursor when typing, show it again when the
mouse moves

xbanish hides the mouse cursor when you start typing, and shows it again when
the mouse cursor moves or a mouse button is pressed. This is similar to
xterm's pointerMode setting, but xbanish works globally in the X11 session.

- I personally use this package because just having the cursor on the
  screen doing nothing is a bit annoying.
- unclutter's -keystroke is supposed to have the same functionality but
  it's broken.
