I had another package before that followed a similar convention. It made sense to follow what I had done before. I also did not know about the kde-config-* standard until yesterday. :) I would be ok with renaming both packages if needed. Regarding Plasma 5, I was going to contact upstream and inquire about their intentions to port it to plasma 5. My other package is in the same boat. I will be doing that package myself. I am curently waiting for Beryl 0.1.2 to be frozen. They are currently not ready so I am waiting. Also, the debian configurations they use are not ok. We do not use cdbs and I need to make many changes to remove things like Mesa out of beryl-core. All the work is being done in the Debian X-Strike Force team.
