Bug#151192: ITP: xmms-kjofol -- XMMS remote that uses K-Jofol's skins

Package: wnpp

Severity: wishlist

* Package name: xmms-kjofol
  Version : 0.95
  Upstream Author : Tim Ferguson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
* URL : http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~timf/xmms/
* License : GPL
  Description : XMMS remote that uses K-Jofol's skins

This is a plugin for xmms which allows you to use skins designed
for the Kjofol mp3 player. These skins differe from standard
xmms skins in that they need not be the usual rectangular shape.
Also, the buttons don't need to be in the same places that they are
with xmms, or with other xmms skins.

There are some very cool skins coming out for K-Jofol. They look
heaps better than the Winamp ones. This can be compiled as a stand
alone program which functions as a remote control. Just run XMMS,
then run this to control XMMS.

Bug#196199: status?

2003-12-17 Thread Thorsten Sauter
* sean finney <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> [2003-12-16 21:28]:
| hey guys,
|
| what's the status of the adoption? i have a machine that i'd really like
| to put something from the .8.x series and would love a debian package
| of it (as opposed to *gasp* having to install from source:).
|
| i see a lot of "i'm going to take care of it" type messages but no
| packages being uploaded, so i'm curious if this is actively being worked
| on, and/or if help is needed with the packaging process.

I have the package ready. I will put it tomorrow on gluck.
The only missing point is, that I have currently no upgrade path from
the very old 0.6.x version.

I think I will upload cacti in the next few days (2-3 days).

Please note, that currently no safe migration path from the 0.6 to the 0.8

Bug#164025: ITP: grdesktop -- gtk2 frontend for the rdesktop client

Package: wnpp
Version: unavailable; reported 2002-10-10

* Package name: grdesktop
  Version : 0.10
  Upstream Author : Thorsten Sauter <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
* URL : http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/grdesktop/
* License : GPL
  Description : gtk2 frontend for the rdesktop client

grdesktop is a frontend, written in c using the gtk2 toolkit, for the
remote desktop client (rdesktop).
It can save several connections (including there options), and browse
the network for available terminal servers.

I have already created a basic version of the debian package. It can
be downloaded from the link above.

The program is now stable enough for me, and we use it on many
x-terminals, in the company; so I think it's a good extension
for the debian project. :)

idesk plops icons down on your root window (desktop). It includes
support for PNG alpha layers, and pretty antialiased text with Xft.

idesk is very fast, faster then nautilus, and runs on most of the
available window managers (not tested all). It's a small package
which comes without any icons or pixmaps, and can use all installes
png's.

cool I have waited for this ITP since I have read about this emulator in

I think this informations are not really useful and should be removed
from the package description.

Any maybe as described in the policy you should add the homepage too.

 to maintain Graphs, Data Sources, and Round Robin Archives in a
